WWIII U.S.vs. China

Why cant it be one people against everything else? Why cant we trust each other? why cant we rise up against the one that holds us down and stand untied ? Why cant we disagree and still support each other> why cant we hate and love each other...............

Yes the standing communist Chinese army is larger in manpower but lack the sophistication and logistical capabilities of the US military. Economically they are catching up to us but still are far behind.

How do know that? I beg to differ.............lol

They also resent the USA being the top dog for no other reason than they are not.

Everyone knows that...its not the people...no more than it was the Russian people...the Iraqi people...the Iranian people...or any people...we are all the same...raise our children and hope for the best for them. Yes China has 1.5 Billion people, but eventually those people will stop lining up to be shot.

I think due to the twitter/youtube generation it's going to be much harder to start a WWIII let alone continue it for a long time. The people may not know why they are fighting, but the atrocities of the fighting will be known.

Imagine if there were images/videos of the majority of WWII deaths? Or even a large percentage. The photos we see are horrific, but they are not HD blood and guts, true horror.

Not really.

The US military is FAR more organized and advanced than the Chinese; the US military-industrial complex is in a league by itself. With all this hype and China fear no wonder some people think China is somehow "beating" the US on some front, the fact is China is still far behind militarily and economically.

Not only that, China's economy is irrevocably linked to the US and somewhat visa versa. As soon as the US suffers, China suffers. If the Chinese quit making stuff for Americans, Americans would again make their own and the US economy would actually improve.

There was a lot of outcry over the DF-12D, which is not that impressive at all. That should give an idea of how people tend to hype up this China stuff when in fact China could enter an economic "golden age" complete with military expansion and still be decades out from the US, if the US did nothing in this time.

Also, China is going to run into an overpopulation problem a lot sooner than the US will. The US pumps out a lot more product than China now, despite having a only a quarter of the size of the population that China has and rampant unemployment.

The US is having a bad day and still out competes China dramatically in any and every area, I don't see how that implies that China is "beating" us at anything.

Now this war without bringing Nukes into the picture would go down like this.

The US attacks China=US loses The attacking force.
China attacks the US=China loses the Attacking Force.

Now bring Nukes into the picture if I overlooked something in those above cases. We all will be the loser

This will never happen as a war we now know where you attack the country with a invasion force. We may brush elbows now and then but I just can`t see one attacking the other due to there will be no winners.
I can see some behind the door talk going on with one country we want this and will give up that if you allow it.

Count me out. I'm not gonna be a pawn of any politician. Especially one that doesn't fight alongside its soldiers.

China is Australias friend. Our economy is linked to them. Thats why we got through the GFC without much trouble.

The US make us a target. The US sending Marines to NT and talking about a drone base makes us a target. Do you really think we will side with America?

And dont say "plead for help". The Americans will be destroyed. We may be playing your stupid Imperialistic games right now because we have to but when it comes to the crunch,we will turn on you. The whole world will. America has no 'allies'. America is a bully. You will turn around to find no friends. Especially in this part of the world.

China does not lack sophistication. China has a very strong economy and will overtake the US as the worlds largest within a few years. Sooner in my opinion.

America has no solutions. You cut military spending while China increases.

America falls and China rises.

Wouldn't disagree about America packing it up and going home, but don't underestimate the provocation countries in southeast Asia engage in.

They were burning Chinese flags in Manila a few days ago in response to the most recent dispute over a fishing vessel or something. While this is going on the US and Philippines announce joint military training operations. So the US is certainly taking advantage of the situation to project power in this region by allowing smaller countries to leverage their military power against China. And these smaller countries would be foolish not to do so given China's overwhelming military power compared to other countries in the region.

What are you basing that statement on? China is a country where most people don't come anywhere near being able to afford housing, inflation far outstrips wage gains over the last 10 years, good health care is unaffordable for virtually everyone, and they have a rapidly approaching demographic problem that will make what happened in Japan after the 1980's look mild by comparison.

All of this is not to mention that massive ill will they are beginning to accumulate in Africa and southeast Asia, as the mostly government owned corporations cosy up with corrupt governments and strip areas of their natural resources. There is an incredible amount of unrest in the western part of the country that goes mostly unreported, and they have started to attract the attention of Islamic terrorists for their treatment of Muslims throughout much of the country.
