Due to the economic uprise and the power of the Chinese government and milatary do you foresee ww3 being a pan Asian conflict with the U.S. and china being the main countrys coing head to head due to the aggressiveness of the Chinese claims of territories in the south china sea.

Not really...China has too much to lose economy wise and US not in a position right now. I can see the two teaming up to battle the coming mid east war...China has a terror problem as well...just don't hear about a lot of what goes on there...its only going to get worse in the coming years in the mid east and eventually the big three will have to deal with it...together...thats WW3 in the middle east with us against them. But who knows...Tawain is a wild card but I forsee a deal eventually being made there much like Hong Kong...and the current US admin is unlikely to start anything but give everything.

The war has already begun
It's an economic one...
And so far the US is losing.

I don't think a shot will ever need to fired

Having lived in China for more than a couple of years I think the MSM makes us believe they are not like us. I do not believe nor do I think the end begins with china. What a great country and what a great people.

If you have not been there and lived there for a year or two then Snip.

That's right because our spec ops guys are already on the ground regardless if you think it or not. Economic wise we are loosing thanks to Obama bin laden.

Just to add to that - I was talking with my dad last month - he'd just returned from a month in China on business.

The most memorable comment from him was an epiphany he realized after seeing the Terra-cota warriors...

He said "Don't underestimate these people - that culture has had the chance to forget more knowledge than we will ever learn"

I agree with you but let's say it's a race...
Just because you're not running as hard as you can doesn't mean you're not losing to the guy that's passing you

usa hands down beats the chicoms...

they would be picking them off 10 to 1
so the numbers wouldnt matter
and our supperior nuclear technology
and missle deffense systems
would render chinas equipment
useless.. bottom line
they would be blown into the
stone age

It is unrealistic to entertain the idea that China, Russia or the USA will go to war against each or all of the three parties.
That would not benefit the Big Three.

I can see a triple threat to the world from the three joining together.

The One World Government can not be until a super power of joined nations comes together.

We could call it the: The ARC Federation.
A--America
R--Russia
C--China

Having the power to kill every living thing in all the world will deter WW3..

There would be no winners in that war and it's foolish to think so.

I'm all about GO USA but I'm also realistic...

If it came down to it just know that every one of those Chinese civilians has served in the military - it's mandatory over there.

Just saying...Proceed with the rah-rah we're gonna kick their ass stuff if you feel like it...

Oh - and on top of that they don't eat cheese...they think it's disgusting...

No conflict is possible if somebody actually screwed up so badly that it did go down there would be no winner, just a world of death.

that's correct: that war is ongoing, it's located in Africa, for example.
Over there, there's even firing, but hey, who cares? (cynical smile)
