You know, for trying to make a political point, you kind of discredited yourself back there. A lot.

At least make some good arguments instead of trying to make stupid stuff sound witty.

Germanicus is a known communist so of course he would hate freedom loving Libertarian, and hopefully next president, Ron Paul.

Yeah, you are right. This is a good point. What Mitt Romney and Obama did in high school has little to do with the election, and the people who dig up the past clearly have ulterior motives. Maybe that isn't right... their motives are actually quite clear... to keep us from thinking about the real issues.

Everyone makes mistakes in high school. The fact that Obama tried coc aine, and is honest about it, doesn't change my opinion of his policies.

Hmm... but the fact that Mitt Romney was a gay-bashing bully might be pertinent to the elections... because, more than likely, his feelings about gays are still the same. If his views had changed, I think it would be different.

Did you read the thread? Or just the title?

How is the thread anti-Ron Paul in any way?

Ron Paul is the choice of the socialist. Im socialist by the way. Not communist.

Lets debate it.

I understand what you are saying, but a joke is not a proper simile, and certainly not a mistake from a 16 year old. I don't think anyone, (I'll allow for the national enquirer) would run with a headline like that. That makes the post difficult, because it ultimately, in a subtle way puts up RP without a teenage transgression, and apart from all the rest. You don't have to do that, he is apart from all the rest. Media, or opponent digging into the past is only to be expected anyway, you can't say that it's wrong or right, except in areas of 'fact' Teenage rites of passage do not allow for others being hurt for instance. By the same token in other areas, the media overplays the teenage syndrome in a way that should make you think that bad behaviour should be the norm, and that teenagers themselves are expected to behave in that way as a norm, that is rubbish. It's not so hard to know what is right or wrong.

Sounds like Ron Paul was a pretty awesome kid anyway.

And yeah,I regret the headline. Lately I have been very annoyed by some of Ron Pauls fans. The ones that seem like cult members. I think I was just messing with them a little. I knew some of them would just read the headline and miss the point. I shouldnt mess with them
Im on their side. Alot of Paul fans are almost annoying enough to turn you off Ron Paul in my opinion.

But I really dont think we can place much importance on what Romney did in 1965 when he was 16. Or anyone else.
