Here's my logic......

Are you at all aware how women and young girls have been treated in Pakistan since it's independance from India?

if you are into logic, what is your logical assessment of this specific case and how this man deserved to be attacked with acid?

erm yeah, people throwing acid, I'll call them a bitch, b****d etc, whats the problem with that?

Cease your assumptions by the way, the women in my life are precious and I would die defending them,
.

Don't reference my mother , she wasn't an acid throwing bitch

The problem is it sounds like your getting far to emotional over the subject and have seized to be objective in your thinking. You seem to be taking one incident and blowing it out of proportion, Im not actually sure what your getting at anymore because all im hearing is that this woman is a monster, probably satan dressed up, deserves a good slap... but the guy is good as gold...

NONE of that in any way excuses violence, ffs it is the very same thing a violent man might use to smack a woman- pathetic hypocrisy

Treat these people as individuals- refusing someone a divorce is not comparable with acid flinging- a woman might not agree to divorce a man might refuse it as well, human emotions and love may not contemplate the break up (as well as sacrifice for your children) none of it is an excuse for violence

all we know is

* the woman threw acid
* the man refused divorce

The first inherently trumps the second

Me, emotional, no, I think a person throwing acid and some person on an internet forum excusing it because they share the same looking genitals is getting emotional, what say you

well, if you want to play the extreme relativist game, then a man could say that leading him on, bringing him back to his room and indicating sex, but then refusing, is reason for rape- I wouldn't say that, but, using your reasoning, without her teasing, there would not have been rape

Shall we switch them round in ascending order? okay, here we go:

* The man refused divorce
* The woman threw acid.

Btw, i'll say it again, i don't condone what she did. Read that again to take it in.

I am not into assumptions, you can assume what you want to fill your spasy little agenda- all we know is that the woman, in this case, was an evil acid throwing bitch, no assumptions needed, now burn yer bra and move to Pakistan in solidarity- won't hold my breath on that last point eh

ok, let's run with your reasoning

* woman refuses sex
* man rapes woman

Your logic dictates some exuse in that second point

My logic calls it rape, same way as my logic calls her an acid throwing bitch

Everybody has the right to refuse sex. A man can refuse sex to a woman at any point and yet if she forces him, that is rape.
A woman may refuse sex at any point, if the man forces her, its rape.

Its a very basic understanding that if your partner does not consent, openly states they do not wish to have sex with you and yet you proceed, you are committing rape. Its as black and white as that. Its also off topic.

Woman are owned by their husbands. They can not leave or divorce without the husband's permission.

That is FACT. And that is oppression.

I'm not the one assuming. That would be you.

No, YOUR logic dictates that there is some sort of excuse. Dont put words in my mouth and plus, were not talking about rape, please stay on topic.
