I'm sure it's Romney. Nice barb though... But, it's easy to see why they chose Obama to run in 2008...African American, well-spoken, young, the impression of idealism, a decent slogan, etc., etc. It was a decent package for the average American who never bothered to check his voting record, etc.

I guess it is only news if you had not heard about this before. MSNBC had a segment on, I believe Rachel Maddow, a few nights ago on this investigation. It really involves his son Tagg (where do they come up with these names?) than Romney however there are concerns that the old man may be linked.
There were no accusations, just a mention that there are specific improprieties in some financial dealings of the Romney family. So, we will see where it goes but, as noted, it has already been reported in the MSM. It is just being downplayed until something more is learned.
Mitt Romney, his son Tagg, and Romney’s chief fundraiser, Spencer Zwick, have extensive financial and political ties to three men who allegedly participated in an $8.5 billion Ponzi scheme. A few months after the Ponzi scheme collapsed, a firm financed by Mitt Romney
and run by his son and chief fundraiser partnered with the three men and created a new
“wealth management business” as a subsidiary.
In an exclusive interview with ThinkProgress, Tagg Romney confirmed their business relationship, but falsely claimed that the men were cleared of any wrongdoing associated
with the Ponzi scheme. Tagg Romney told ThinkProgress that his three partners collected
about $15,000 from their involvement in the Ponzi scheme. Court documents obtained by ThinkProgress show that the legal proceedings are ongoing and the men made over
$1.6 million selling fraudulent CDs to investors.

I suggest and strongly advise the same restrictions imposed upon 2nd ammendment adherants should be made retro-active as to apply to 1st amendment adherants.THAT IS, SHOW PROFICIENCIE AT THE CRAFT. It is/was the free press that goosed up the Tratvon case, a strictly local matter that Martins' family hired a lawyer and a publiscist to gin up the charges.
Doubt me, wait til the trial. I'm m not Springer, but I got sources.
