Most of Americans have felt this recession in one way or another,,,, lose your car, home, job and self esteem
Move back into Mom's house, get a divorce because of money problems can even begin to think how you'll ever pay back those student loans!

Obama has forgotten about you, No,,, Really he has, he doesn't see you,,, he believes what he's told and he's cushioned from the out side world.
As long and Michelle and her mother and the girls can go on vacation,,,,,,,He's Happy,,, Why is Obama Happy....He believes you're on vacation to,,, His Holly Wood Friends aren't feeling your pain so,,, How Could Obama?

"It was a house of cards and it collapsed in the most destructive, worst crisis that we’ve seen since the Great Depression," Obama said. "And sometimes people forget the magnitude of it. You know, you saw some of that in the video that was shown. Sometimes I forget."

Mitt Romney's press secretary, Andrea Saul, responds: "It’s not surprising that a president who forgot to create jobs, forgot to cut the debt, and forgot to change Washington has now admitted that he’s forgotten about the recession. In fact, it seems that the President has forgotten that he’s been in office for the last three-and-a-half years. In November, the American people won’t forget."

I think once you're POTUS, it's real easy to lose touch with the common man (if they ever had it to begin with). In fact, I think this holds true with pretty much everyone up in Washington, as well as world wide. I don't know if this will ever change, but I highly doubt it.
Still, in the age of instant information and communication, the ability to change this para-dime exists. But as the old saying goes, power corrupts. So by the very nature of the position and therefore power we hand these individuals with our votes distances them from us.
Even the most well meaning person, once in the establishment long enough, will turn into another one of pigs on the farm.

I mean that money he's spending his Our Tax Dollars and if there's not enough coming in,,, you save and go with less,,,,,, You don't pay you electric bill our your mortgage because you want to spend that money on a trip to Spain with Mom and The Girls and 50 close friends.

That's why it would be nice to go back to the days of Lincoln and the people before him. Back then you were able to go to the White House and speak your mind to the president and representatives. Obviously after Lincolns assassination that all changed but imagine if we were able to do that today? He wouldn't be forgetting anything. It's almost as if when we get a president they become just a figure head, someone else is running the show behind the curtain and the American people fall for it. If you want real change vote Ron Paul. It's as if watching one of the founding fathers every time that man speaks.

No, no I don't. I can honestly say only Big Brother can get away with spending money on a negative budget. Though wouldn't it be nice if we all could budget our personal incomes the way the government does?

Wife: "Honey, we can't afford the car payment this month unless we cut back on some of the frivolous spending."

Me: "Sounds good, lets go buy another one. And while we're at it, I think we should hit up the casino. Blow a few grand and see if we get lucky!"

Yeah, in reality, I just lost the privileges to the bank account. Not to mention a few nights on the couch. ^.^

The sad reality is I don't think it will ever change. No matter who's in office. They spend to buy votes in the end, not caring about who the buck passes to because by the time it's a real problem, they're already out of the office. Ala Bush Jr. if you will.

I honestly don't think TPTB will ever let Paul close to the White House. His seat in congress is as loud a voice as they will ever allow that man. -.-

I wonder...if it might be too much to ask of our White House and staff currently in residency. However briefly that may remain the case after the next election.... While the Rockstar is off on the Campaign trail and living a high life few in human history have ever known......or while jetsetting off to whatever destination might strike his fancy as a spot to stop and hang out for a few days.... Perhaps he can stop reminding us that are HURTING...just how much HE IS NOT.

I believe history shows a great many examples of populations watching a leader go on and on and on and ON...and who knows what that last little thing was. I think back again to President Marcos and his walking shoe store of a Wife. They were almost chased by a raging population...right to the American Helicopters that carried his butt out.

Really... Even Americans tire of the opulence and seeming nonstop costume parties and headliner names at the White House like it's a cheap joint on the old Vegas strip. I've never seen the appearance of...casual disregard and even contempt of the people that this man has shown since his name became well known. Really incredible..and thankfully..almost over.

Obama gets a free Library and another pension to add to his Senate one, for life. May he get on with the business of retiring. November works fine for me!

I seriously hope people remember come November, because if not, who knows if this country will make it to it's next voting November. As it stands, people are so fed up, one more straw, and the camel is gonna have full blown mess on it's hand.
