Against Obama, even a jailbird gets some votes

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas got 4 out of 10 votes in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary.

The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999. Obama received 59 percent of the vote to Judd's 41 percent

news.yahoo.com...

This is funny as hell so a felon got 41% of the vote without national press coverage and sitting in jail no less.

Give me a small tad of hope that the "Great Savior of the Republic" just indeed go down this November.

A Felon!!!!

In W. Virginia, the primary was Felon vs. Felon. You really have to feel bad for them.

Now what does that really say about Obama??

Now that is what you call lessor or the evils.
He certainly showed the hypocrisy of our system.

Brown, the Cross Lanes electrician, did not learn of Judd's background until after he voted. He went to the polls before his 22-year-old daughter, Emily. She planned to vote for Judd, too, until she found out where he has been living. "I'm not voting for somebody who's in prison," she said. She was certain about one thing: "I just want to vote against Barack Obama."

Wow, I didn't know that someone could be this ignorant.
Let's vote for someone you don't even know for the simple reason...
"I just want to vote against Barack Obama"

It was the Democratic primary... I didn't see if it said West Virginia allows cross party voting in the primaries or not. If it was all Democrats voting that is saying something. If Republicans voted in it too then it was just plain hijinks.

I just want to vote against George Bush"

That is how Obama was elected.
