"We have reached a profound point in history where the truth is unpalatable to the political class — and that truth is that the scale and magnitude
of the problem is larger than their ability to respond — and it terrifies them."
— Hugh Hendry
Doesn't this just sum it all up? The sheeple know there is a "truth" out there (that something is terrribly wrong with the world---something is
amiss, doesn't add up, is unfair to us, etc. etc.) but it's uncomfortable for them. And they KNOW that if they opened the closet door and looked at
the monster truth, that they would see how BIG the problem really is...and they won't be able to respond to it.
So---they're just terrified.
That's why when you bring up certain subjects to the sheeple, they get defensive, or they tune out, or they shrug their shoulders, or they turn
away.
They're terrfied.
Fear is the great enabler for doing nothing.
