Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
and the chairman of the opposition Kadima Party struck a deal early Tuesday morning to form a unity government, a surprise move that staves off the early elections Mr. Netanyahu had set into motion and creates a new coalition with a huge legislative majority.
This is the biggest coalition, 95 Knesset members, the biggest we have ever had in the history of the State of Israel.
