Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
and the chairman of the opposition Kadima Party struck a deal early Tuesday morning to form a unity government, a surprise move that staves off the
early elections Mr. Netanyahu had set into motion and creates a new coalition with a huge legislative majority.
Pretty surprising news considering there was jst an announcement to hold early elections. The article says that there will be little say from the
opposition in terms of political power as this is the largest legislative majority in the history of Israel!
This is the biggest coalition, 95 Knesset members, the biggest we have ever had in the history of the State of Israel.
