The New York Times has a graphic showing the number of attacks in Iraq over the last 30 days and their location.
They're in Mosul, Kirkuk, Tikrit, Samarra, Ramadi, (around) Falluja, Baghdad, Baquaba and others.
For those who say the media jumps on every attack and makes the situation look worse than it really is, I think this shows there is a lot we don't
hear about.
# 27 land mine attacks (0.9 per day average)
# 39 hand grenade attacks (1.3 per day)
# 40 vehicle bomb attacks (1.3 per day)
# 272 RPG attacks (9 per day)
# 527 small-arms fire attacks (17 per day)
# 664 mortar and rocket fire attacks (22 per day)
# 799 homemade bomb (IED) attacks (26 per day)
Please excuse the huge gaphic but it's an interesting image as it shows the locations of the attacks.
