I understand the desire for isreal to want a weapon like that, although i am not sure it is entirely possible. As previously stated, they are surrounded by people that have tried time and time again to exterminate them. While they get bombed and have suicide bombers run into their malls and restaurants, the US tells them to stay cool and talk through these problems. If I were them, i would want a weapon like this too. They are trying to defend themselves against an enemy that wants nothing more than to destroy them by any means possible. As far the the world domination idea, I think that is a little far fetched. just my opinion.

Whether you all realize it or not, the development amd threat of an ethno-bomb is more real than you can fathom. The technology is already in existance and the product could arrive at any time. This is a scary though indeed. Because as before stated, there is no greater threat to world peace than the U.S. As for Israel...they've suffered more than our country or any other country has. Israel is an immature nation playing with tools when they should be playing with toys. And as far as SARS is concerned...Asians..maybe some people...but who would want to kill Canadians?

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the northeast side of US, but for awhile we here were afraid of mosquitoes. You see these hellasious insects could transmit a fatal bacteria or even pass infected blood around. Knowing this, people were histerical and even refused to go near wooded areas.
Kind of makes one think what could be created in these days.

Yes I do remember this. Although most diseases can be spread by mosquitoes, the one that put everyone into a panic was encephalitis. The southeastern United States had the same problem. For almost an entire year, the government (along with local news, etc.) warned people to stay in at night and such. Perhaps something was going on at night? I don't know. All I Know is I haven't heard the word encephalitis for quite some time until today.

Money could probably be placed on that theory.

The idea that the Government would make up or create a scare in order to keep people from "stumbling" onto something does not suprise me. I recall some people comeing down with something during that time, maybe an outbreak of of sort happened, it could have even been a controlled outbreak. I wonder if it was only the east coast?

Hmm... the only thing I can think of that is worth protecting on the east coast would be NASA. Could it be that NASA was working on something "hush hush"

NASA, mosquitoes and secret programs...yup. This topic is deffinetly at home. Besides NASAs newer assesments of possible deep space programs, I don't think I could imagine how a outbreak could fit in...so it's entirely possible they were covering up something. Where's Mulder and Scully when we need them?!
