The "ethno-bomb"...

Israel is reportedly developing a biological weapon that would harm Arabs while leaving Jews unaffected, according to a report in London's Sunday Times.

The report, citing Israeli military and western intelligence sources, says that scientists are trying to identify distinctive genes carried by Arabs to create a genetically modified bacterium or virus.

The "ethno-bomb" is reportedly Israel's response to the threat that Iraq may be just weeks away from completing its own biological weapons.

The task is very complex because both Arabs and Jews are Semitic peoples. But according to the report, the Israelis have succeeded in isolating particular characteristics of certain Arabs, "particularly the Iraqi people."

Dedi Zucker, a member of the Israeli parliament, denounced the research in the Sunday Times. "Morally, based on our history, and our tradition and our experience, such a weapon is monstrous and should be denied."

Last month, Foreign Report claimed that Israel was following in the ignominious footsteps of apartheid-era research, in their supposed efforts to develop an "ethnic bullet."

The Israelis are playing with fire. Besides the Israelis need no weapons of mass destruction. I think that is clear to everyone. Yet they strive to get them, right???
They were even as bold as to steal Plutonium from our Nuclear fueling stations so they could make the bomb. Now they are reported to have around 200 Nukes. Why??? Because they can, and will.

Back to the discussion. Why is it clear to everyone that Israel needs no weapons of mass destruction? They are surrounded by the enemy, the enemey that has tried to erase them from the planet a few times. An enemy that speaks of their one true desire, to succeed in ridding the world of the Jews.

1 there is no threat from Iraq,
2 the entire article is farcical, you cannot seperate people ethnically and make a bomb. Do you think the arab peoples are one race? They are not. Infact Iranains don't even see themselves as "arabs"

Iit is not neccesary to use "insults" to explain a point of view or define something, because then ppl makes subjective comments always, and at least for these kind of matters we need as much objectivity as possible,
Anyway u are right, it doesnīt mean that is 100% true that this weapon exists, but now it is much more clear the possibilitie of their existance... (which are not good news...)

Superpoblation is a problem, and the population grow is exponential so, once we have 6000mill people, that will grow much more, than when we were just 400 mill...
Obviously this is the worst weapon u can fight against, because there is no need to destroy the nature with bombs if afterwards the need that nature to survive, but get rid of "specify people" will make it easier faster and effective...

Yes, ethno-bio weapons are monstruous.

It's better to use nuclear, thermo-nuclear, " conventional " biological or chemical weapons.

Also, we have so many napalm stocks and others conventional bombs & missiles. Why not using these stocks in place of ethno-bio weapons ?
