The following footage was taken 05 May, 2012 on a Canon Power Shot SD850 IS on time-lapse 2 mode.

I really have no doubts this is a UFO or two UFOs.

Many of my UFO/Anomaly-presented posts are ridiculed yet with all the rhetoric and opine debunking, no one can tell me this is a plane or two planes/aircraft in tight formation.

I put that possibility in the title of this thread to eliminate someone I expect will call it.

Where are the wings? The tail? Where are the features of a known aircraft?

There are none.

If you have an explanation, I would love to entertain it.

Here is the link.

two jets in tight formation? tough to tell anything with time lapse and poor resolution

Sorry, I don't think it's an aircraft. It looks like a beastie. They can look sectioned or elongated, longer or shorter, all depending on exposure and camera settings. Interesting video though.

Even at poor resolution a plane has wings.

Just for the record, my pilot friend thought one frame looked like a pair of CH47s, but I pointed out the lack of rotor blades and upon refusing to give him a cigarette until he agreed this was one or two UFOs, he viewed the video with great focus and agreed it was UFO(s) and I quote, "I have no doubt" as I passed him a cigarette.

The "original speed" looks extremely sped up. Watch the cloud movement in the back ground.

As I don't know how that time lapse mode works, could you please explain it?

Does it take several photos or does it make a movie?
If it takes photos, could you please upload them? They would be much better than the movie.

If it makes a movie, is that the full resolution or is it bigger?
Could you please post the original?

Edit: I forgot to say "thanks in advance".

there is no earthly way that 2 jets can fly in that tight a formation at that speed. not a hope in hell. (aviation background so i can categorically confirm that is just not possible with our known aircraft)

We are only seeing a 2D version, there's no way of knowing which object is closer to the camera and the difference between their respective distances.

It's springtime in the northern hemisphere.
It looks like 2 mating bugs.

That may be true, but as they, or 'it' crosses the frame, the distance between them looks constant as if in perfect sync with each other, if 'it' are multiple craft.

If it is a single entity, it makes sense the movements are as one.

Regarding the distances, if the right is closer I would call it an optical illusion. But either way, they are pretty close and if within feet would the precise measurment really change anything?

It is either one or two craft. No reasonable alternate explanation yet either.

This is a few seconds of a 3+ minute film.

I'd show the whole thing but don't have space online.it takes pictures every few seconds. If SMPTE is 29.97fps, this would be like 15 or more times slower so at 29+fps, it looks real fast.

...on time-lapse 2 mode.

Combine that with terrible resolution and we have nothing to even talk about, do we? I mean, I know people are desperate to either prove or disprove UFO's and aliens, etc, but seriously? Discussing this type of terrible evidence is a lost cause.

Thanks for that.

More questions, if you don't mind:
- I didn't understand it, do you have the original photos or does the camera make the movie, without saving the individual frames?
- is it possible to know exactly how long was the time between frames? That way we could make a video with the correct duration to give us an idea of the real speed of the object(s).

That is one ship as apparently a dark line in the center always appears.

www.youtube.com...

Posted at the video.
Must be a linear ship have perfectly tuned Tesla propulsion.
The null in the center must prove waves are moving the atoms at the hull
surface into illumination. Tesla: light comes from knocking atoms together,
see he made gas tubes glow with he waves but the also move ships along
quite fast.

Much better but you see the wave maximizes then goes past the ship center
and maximizes again causing a bright light on the second half of the ship
or you don't quite get atoms and wave action so forget about understanding
UFOs.

Time lapse photo, so the objects are moving much faster than normal. So it could just be two military aircraft flying across the city....like these in Tucson:

It would help to know where exactly it was shot, If there is an airport or base to the right, it would explain a lot...
