So did we get the dates wrong? Is 2012 not really until next year? Or the year after?

Or do we simply accept that nothing was ever going to happen and get on with the rest of our lives?

I have to be honest and admit that i do feel an awful lot better since 11:15 but i put it down to the fact that was when i realised i only had another 3 hours before i stop work for Christmas!

I would like to thank all those who participated in this thread. For 230 days, we have been counting down to this moment in history. We cracked jokes, shared facts, conversed and counted.

While nothing has happened (yet), it is safe to say that the countdown and everyone's efforts were not in vain. For we have now entered the 14th Baktun, a new age according to the Mayans. A new age of enlightenment perhaps? Only time will tell.

Well it's 12-21-12 for me right now. It is 10:45am where I am. I've got bad vertigo and want to go back to bed.

But can't, I've got my son with me since he's out of school and I've got one more thing to do for Christmas.

And my husbands birthday is tomorrow, and I'm taking him out for sushi....so I really don't want anything to happen....I want sushi! but the other side of the world already went through the Friday and we are still here...

never thought the world was going to end, but i was hoping something cool would happen. Oh well another boring day
