Nice thread, very interesting to see everything for the month of April all wrapped up into one video and I am sure there are events missing.

I for one took the time to watch the video you provided and enjoyed it very much.
I see a couple of posters here could not even be bothered to watch it, shame really.

As the great poet Eliot once said, April is the cruelest month.

Very very good video ! Some things I hadn't heard of. wow. S&F.

I find it funny that more and more locals are going (and no matter the event) "I've never seen anything like this in my life"...

But it's not important. Move along...all is normal...nothing to see here...

What's important is that Cameron Diaz had a royal fit about her hair being cut too short.

It's not just the strange weather either, but also the anomalous sounds that are being reported all over North America. Ever wonder if the two are connected somehow?

Sometimes your dry responses make me laugh. Sometimes they just make me thirsty.

Good answer !!! Yes, shorts and tank tops and sand and waves. Barbeques and baseball games. Fireworks and gin and tonics. What a drugery, oh what a world.

I am not famaliar but I have to agree just on principal. April holds out a promise but she seldom keeps it. Its warm one day and cold and rainy the next. You make plans and April ruins them. If you want to plan something for outdoors do it in May or June never in April. April is never sure if it wants to belong to spring to to winter. Its wishywashy and non commital.

Could it be that the "I've never seen anything like this in my life" be due to the fact that we are globally connected in a way we have never been before? I think it is.

Implying that news is a new concept. The world has been connected by television news for decades now.

Hi Karen,

Could it be that the "I've never seen anything like this in my life" be due to the fact that we are globally connected in a way we have never been before? I think it is.

Perhaps. The ease of communications nowadays makes it easier to gather and share information. Being more connected is a possibility. But I am unsure if it can be a solid fact that explains all events and opinions associated with them.

Explaining the crazy WEATHER we had in 2011
and what 2012 will bring us
giving the answer WEATHER is NOT enought
for some really anormal, out of ordinary WEATHER

Come on Phage you can do better then that ... dont be lazy
and give us a proper answer

No offense to Phage (like he cares)
but for him, and those like him on ATS;
Having a short nonchalant answer is what they do.

Very busy people I guess.
And being allegedly too busy for these kind of threads,
they sure check them out a lot. Why do it
if they are so sure it's crap?
They don't seem to be out
to help soothe nerves?

What's amazing to me, whether it's sky sounds,
EQ's or bizarre weather, it's always,
"That's normal".
"See there were two 9.0 earthquakes 20,000 years ago
so it happens, Calm down"

Meh. There has always been "crazy" weather. With that said, nice video. However, I am sure if someone paid enough attention to every month from say 2000 to April 2012 in this example, more extreme cases could be found.
