This is False. It states no where in the bible of Jesus calling himself God. Christians believe Jesus to be the actual son of God while Muslims believe Jesus to be a prophet as Muhammad. Muslim respect and praise Jesus but do not worship him as God... neither do Christians. Both religions however do worship the same God. Muhammad is not God to Muslims he is a prophet. Allah is God to Muslims which literally translates to God in English.

Please do not spread lies.

Why do you think most people that don't buy into religion are highly educated? You have to actually know the subject that you don't support to be against it. You don't just roll out of bed and say "today I'm not going to believe in religion". You start with your own religion and move onto others and eventually you come to the point where it just *clicks* and you say to yourself "wow this all just bullcrap". Most Christians go to church every week but are completely ignorant to what is actually in their book. Atleast Muslims actually read their book back to front and know whats in it. The problem with Muslims however is that they're brainwashed from birth to believe that the koran is connected to life itself.

People there is a seperation between religion and God. You can believe in God or a higher power without buying into man made religion. You don't need a book to tell you how to live your life. It does however give a basic understand of how you should act though. Treat others the way you want to be treated, respect your mother and father, don't run around killing people, etc. etc. But see it was twisted long ago to serve a purpose and that purpose is control. Why else would you be told from a child that if you don't follow it you'll burn in hell? Jesus never wanted a pope living in a castle. It was never supposed to be about a pat on the shoulder because you did something good or you went to church. That pope living in his castle is nothing more than the last remains of a long dead empire still pushing it's influence on the world today.

I believe in God. You look up at the sky and wonder how someone couldn't. But I don't believe in worshiping religion. These can be a seperation between God and religion without burning in hell.

The people that worship Jesus as God are ignorant. This is what I'm talking about when I say that most Christians are pretend Christians. They go to church every week because they have to "save their soul" while they don't even read their own book. Show me the bible verse where Jesus says that he is God. It doesn't exist. Also, how am I wrong about Muslims respecting and praising Jesus as a prophet? I know there are muslims reading this, tell us your opinion on Jesus. Please do share.

What is an "islamist" anyway
It seems to be a very popular word with the crowd I would identify as islamophobic.
According to the way it's flung around both me and my hijab wearing wife are "islamist" because we don't conform to western norms.
I think apart of the problem is that in order to fit in in the u.s. you are expected to assimilate at,the cost of your identity.
It's the borg of nations.
They try to make it a constitution issue but it's really about cultural dominace as provin by history.
But as we snap at eachothers throats a sinister game is afoot and we are the pawns and rooks.
We are not your enemy, its your government thats enslaving you.
If you are so concerned with your constitutional rights and so willing to defend them then why are you not up in arms over the governments passing of the patriot act 1&2 or the o's latest x.o.?

It's actually very important to the discussion because the church isn't doing it's job if the majority of their population is this ignorant. Right but I think what you really mean is that most Christians believe that Jesus was the actual son of God - not God in the flesh. That is actually an acceptable Christian view and the reason why the trinity argument even exists. But to call Jesus something he never said he actually was is creating your own reality no matter how many people believe it.

No. Did you read the links? Those denominations of Christianity believe that Jesus is actually GOD. They believe Him to be God in the flesh. Not just 'the son of God'. But GOD. Divine. Part of a 'Holy Trinity' Godhead. Read the links .. they say Jesus is FULLY GOD and fully human. That's their interpretation and their belief.

The Jewish religion does worship the same God as Christians and Muslims. Jews don't believe Jesus was God, the son of God, or even a prophet.

Then the Jews don't worship the same god as the Christians. The majority of Christians believe Jesus is GOD HIMSELF. A trinity God. It sounds like the Jews and the Muslims worship the same God. But the majority of Christians worship Christ as God and therefore they have a different God. Obviously.

The belief in Christ being God is not Christianity. Jesus never even wanted a religion formed in his name let alone a pope living in a castle. What you're speaking of is either ignorant people or something different from core Christian beliefs. This is not my interpretation this is what is and is not in the Bible.

I don't need to take it up with anyone. You either follow the word of the bible or you don't. If people want to make Jesus into Santa Claus who am I to tell them any different.
