The sad thing that people will actually not get too far with any uprising. We love to dream and be the hero but in fact we are the masses and we have no say.

we will be rounded up like sheep and led to the slaughter.

Shame

I'm guessing you:

1) don't own a firearm

or

2) don't know any military people

I've spoken with a few military guys and have heard on various radio shows and from former soldiers online that the majority of the military knows intrinsically what's going on and that they will be asked to try and defend the government from the revolution. Many of them (most hopefully) will disobey orders and fulfill their oath of defending the US constitution and citizens from enemies, foreign and domestic. I hope EVERYONE watches this video. Smokin Joe is a former army guy, psychological warfare. He knows his stuff. Please watch the entire video. He connect a lot of dots but you have to watch the whole thing. He says that special forces was created by JFK to stop military officers and the government from going rouge against the American people.

There isn't going to be an uprising within America. Americans are too lazy, fat and comfortable with their lifestyles. As long as they can go to a bar on Friday, go to a movie on the weekend, they are fine with that. Americans don't care about everything else. As long as they can enjoy their entertainment everything is hunky dory. Plus the United States government isn't as smart as some give them credit for, the government is actually pretty stupid. They can't even balance a budget, what makes you think they can orchestrate something to this magnitude. 911 proved to the U S government, you can shake the Americans only for a very short time and then their resilience kicks in and the scare ends. The scare tactics don't work anymore as Americans have become used to it and are now stone cold to it. Americans just ignore it now and go on with their lives. Plus think about this for one second. How are you going to control 400 million people in cities, towns and villages spread apart from one another in one of the largest continents on earth? Answer, You can't. America is too geographically diverse and not possible. There is no way the government could possibly control 400 million people through force. There aren't enough troops and the last thing that would happen is you would lose your federal employees as they would scram for safety and the government would be left all alone. Out founding fathers saw this far in advance and set the country u perfectly for this scenario.

What if the "force" were large-scale, game-ending weapons or, even better and effective... viruses or something that allowed the situation to take care of itself? Why use an army of men when you can use something more low-key?

Well aint that fair. We pay them and employ them to do what is right for us, and they go ahead and pretty much declare war on us before trying to work with us, and stop the perpetual f'n of us..? Wow. Thanks DHS. That should be illegal. You are all fired.

I have no respect for Icke. He is a former soccer star, who really has no business commenting as an authority on anything other than the off side rule, and dodgy reffereeing in a football match.

However, what I would say, is that no matter which side of the house a presidential candidate might hail from, he is undoubtedly corrupt as sin, since the political machine that spits these guys out into the public domain strips thier innocence and thier decency out of them before the general public even gets to lay eyes on them.

My nations big political players are no different in that. They are all cut from the same stained cloth by the time we get to vote for them. They have already been bought and sold, and refinanced, and backed, and fronted, and had the dirt in thier draws pored over by people who remain nameless, and yet influence our nations leaders, no matter which party they are part of. I am not talking about some outlandish illuminati conspiracy, just the fact that Whitehall, has more power in it than Downing Street ever has or will, as long as our political structure remains as it is.

Similarly, the US has a MASSIVELY powerful lobby culture in its political structure. In a nation so full of people of varying needs and aspirations, a nation should have LESS lobby groups, not more, because anyone worth a damn intellectually knows that the vast majority of these lobby groups are business lead, or funded by corperate interests who should never be within a nations length of a political debate, due to thier biased and self serving attitude! And yet they often have direct access to the President and his people. That cannot be right, and that wrong would be righted if any president you have ever had, had the balls to correct it. Again, I say the same of my own nations leaders.

Politicians are a bunch of people who urinate on the heads of the world, and are tasked to make us believe it is raining. That is thier primary, thier sole function.

Upon conjuring a potential catalyst for said war (in title), the assassination of Ron Paul (or too brazen an obstruction of his presidency) comes to mind amongst all too many other prospective catalysts.

Something I have figured out about the politics on this site, maybe I should have realized it earlier, doesn't matter which party is in power, they are the enemy.

A question, can someone please explain to me the diference between the federal gov telling me to do something and my state gov telling me to do something? Why are so many of you ok with letting the state tell you how to live, but then suddenly think the world is going to end when the federal government tells you to do something? I just want to know what the big difference is, because as far as I can tell, I voted for both my state and federal reps, so what's the difference between being led by Peter or Paul? I can tell you there is none! You all b!?&h about the fed doing this and the fed doing that, and yell "put the power back in the hands of the states", then when the states do get the power back, they pretty much do what the fed was going to do anyway. I just can't believe none of you "states rights" people have even thought of this yet.

It's not so much a difference in policies or WHO it is, rather the Federal Government is an entity that is unneeded and farther removed from us, figuratively and literally, than our representatives in our state capitals. They add unneeded red tape to simple processes like maintaining our interstate system. The whole concept of this country being run by THIS TYPE of Government is outdated at best, and redundant at it's worst. Remember, this Government was formed when there maybe 13 "colonies". Back then they were considered United. United against England. Hence the term "United States of America". They may have added addendum's and amendment's to the original constitution to try to keep pace with the times, but those additions are still based on an antiquated system. Redundant.

The system in Washington is like that 100 year old boss who's still running the company because he doesn't know what else to do. You kinda feel sorry for the guy, but you don't want to be rude either. He does deserve a certain amount of respect......he did found the company after all.......but it really is his time to go.

Look at this way. I used to work for a company based out of St.Louis. Made the steel and other parts that go into making stores like Ross, Target and Wal-Mart. Building a store? You called us. They also had contracts with some of the major auto manufacturers. Big operation with a lot of national logistics going on. The home office in St. Louis founded the company. That's where it started and over time it grew and branched out into different states. Each DC and manufacturing plant they have, be it California or New York, takes care of their own business. They make and then distribute the product to stores in their area. The home office in St. Louis doesn't do that for them. The individual plants do it for themselves because they know the area, region, and needs of those local customers better than St. Louis does. It's not that St.Louis doesn't know what they're doing, they're just not needed at that level anymore. The only reason they're "needed" is to keep it all on a corporate level for the sake of their shareholders on Wall Street. To make it all look good, professional and cohesive. For all practical purposes however, the company as a whole doesn't NEED corporate anymore. They can take care of their own. They do everyday.

Same with this country. We don't NEED Washington DC, they're just there to make the whole operation look good, professional and cohesive.

We don't need a President, we need 52 regional, I'm sorry, state, managers. They can talk amongst themselves and keep things cohesive at that level. They don't need an entirely separate entity to do it for them.

C.S. Lewis knew what was up. This is from "That Hideous Strength" and deals with what we're seeing today.

“But–what’s it all for?” said Mark.

“Emergency regulations,” said Feverstone. “You’ll never get the powers we want at Edgestow until the Government declares that a state of emergency exists there.”

“Exactly,” said Filostrato. “It’s folly to talk of peaceful revolutions. Not that the canaglia would always resist–often they have to be prodded into it–but until there is disturbance, the firing, the barricades–no one gets powers to act effectively. There’s not enough what you call weight on the boat to steer him.”

That Hideous Strength: Civil Disobedience

It's all good. Nothing to worry about. Everything will be okay. Watch another episode of the "Bethany" show and forget all about it.

You mean like back before the Federal Government was formed and America was ruled under The Articles of Confederation? Cuz that worked out so well...

A lot of people on ATS expect that the US will soon descend into a welter of carnage and civil violence. But when you hear that official government organs feel the same way, maybe its time to REALLY get worried?

This could be the line that connects all the dots we see so often on ATS, from the presence of alleged FEMA camps to huge upticks in ammo buying by the government.

Of course, its important to take this news with a grain of salt because its not coming directly from an official DHS spokesperson; rather, its coming from an alleged "unnamed informant." Even so, I find it all too believable.

The catylist is supposedly a collapse of the economy brought about by hyperinflation that will kick in this later year.

Are you prepared? And do you know what side you are going to stand on?

He doesn't know his stuff. He was never at a high enough level to do anything but speculate and repeat rumor and the special forces comment cinches it.
Further, the OP's original post referred to a site offering penny stock [money-down-a-rathole] investment advice:
" "In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,” Hagmann told TruNews host Rick Wiles.

It's all about money and the play is to get people thinking about economic collapse and then offer a solution which, in ths case, doesn't seem to fit with massive civil war. One would think that investments might not be worth much in a massive civil war but these guys are linked to the right-wing fundamentalists who talk to God on a regular basis and have an inside track on what investments will make you the richest person in the ashes.

This is scaremongering with a profit motive.

American citizens are buying millions of guns every month. America is the only thing that stands between the elites and their agenda of a one world government. They are terrified of us and they know we are waking up. If the military and police wake up enough and refuse orders when the time comes, they stand no chance. Their time is up. Their bloodlines will fall once and for all.

Interesting angle... I'm sure that I read an article that claimed the FBI/CIA had been infiltrated by the KGB over the years and that Russia controls both these agencies... hard to imagine, but not beyond the realms of possibility...

Sorry to hear about your situation with the Army... I know many British people who have been through similar circumstances over here...

I hope things start to look up for you soon

i totally disagree.

Do you think these families have maintained their wealth through the ages by being stupid? No...I don't think so.

Wouldn't it be prudent to predict to the letter just how far you can push a group before they pop? yeah..that sounds like invested science to me.

There is not going to be a war.

The uber wealthy will make consolations right at the edge and suddenly explosive success will pre-occupy our thoughts....then the next recession will come and we will sacrifice a few more rights to get through it....

I don't get how many of you don't see this pattern....it IS a pattern....and one that has been proven successful through any recessions....

All I care about is my daughters....I am investing every dime I have into them being far better than me...they are some clever girls...I don't think I would want to go against them as a team...they are very-very clever. It is what it is though....the cronyism and the patriarchy is not about to die without a fight....but...you CAN fight them....a war of attrition....just ignore them and they will eventually run out of money and die a sad and pitiful death.....

Massive unrest is bound to happen with all those horrible decisions the government has been making in conjunction with big business interested in monopolizing the global markets. You see a mistake and you fix it rather than let get out of control.

They have been kissing too much *wall street ass* the last 20 years and they have themselves to blame. What a disgrace to lose your life fighting socialism/communism only to later find out you were fighting against your own best self-interest.

Trickle down economics means the vast majority of wealth stays up top and a few drops go to the working class. When people can't get by anymore with their income because of low wages and expensive goods/services, then we will see the massive uprisings. I thought that day would never come, constricted only to hollywood plots, but boy was I wrong!

I have to disagree with you about disarming us. When the floods happened in New Orleans the military went willingly with the local police going door to door collecting guns from people who had registered their firearms. Not just in the areas that were flooded but even in areas where there was no flood damage. Not all the military did this the older guys refused to do it but it was the young guys, the ones who have been trained to not question anything that did it you can find videos on youtube about it.

Yeah but they don't use those cancer causing scanners and naked body searches on everyone. They have medium security at best. If you are suspicious they take you to a special room, but 99% are not hassled like they are hassled in the states.

Big difference, no?

You were doing fine till you made this statement ^^^... You fell for the bait and switch what we have causing all the problems IS socialism/communism/corporatism just like all the other communist models in history where a few politically favored at the top get the spoils while everyone else fights for the left over crumbs. But they have now labeled it capitalism and you and many others have fallen for it.

Then so be it. It's the way of life. You can die a coward or you can die moving forward , either way you forgotten. However , I would rather die moving forward , defending my rights and beliefs than dying a coward.

I highly doubt there will be a revolution. If there is a revolution , the only way i would get involved in shooting any one would be in a majority of the population standing up.

Also , don't take the military for granted. The military is sworn to defend the constitution before ANY politician even before the president.

It is the police we should be watching, not the military. The armed forces are far better trained.

The DHS is too puny to fight a domestic uprising of a large scale. They'd have to depend on local law enforecement.

Or bring troops home to supplement. Which would fix half the problems people are uprising about.

It's a win/win.

Let's do it.
