www.haaretz.com
Authorities were still searching for the cause of a mysterious chemical odor that enveloped central Israel on Thursday, discounting reports that it originated in chemical ground disinfection operations in the south of the Sharon region.

Hmmm interesting. Obviously this could be just nothing, some sort of gas leak i guess, however After looking around, turns out that Hezbollah has previously released chemical and bio-type weapons/gas near the border of Israel in the past (albeit, in an alledged blast due to what appeared to be a hidden cache for the chemicals/toxins) .

Check out this ATS thread:

Thought it was interesting.. Seems to me that would be an easy way for groups like Hesbollah to attack Israel. Like a throw back to the Germans in WW1 when they released chlorine gas onto the French and Canadians near Kitcheners Wood... Just let the wind take it over and you have a lot of sick and dying Israeli's... The only problem is when the winds shift back towards you!

Anyways, your thoughts??!

interesting, but not nearly enough information to even begin speculating. if this was a chemical weapon, then hezbollah SUCKS.

no reports of injuries, hospitalizations, or deaths, so for right now, that can be ruled out..

Yup, could easily be a false flag operation. Release potentially toxic chems, scare israeli's into fearing more 'chem attacks', direct the blame towards iran, and boom, instant public support for an attack on Iran! Wouldnt be that hard to do. All you need is an official release from the government saying the attack has ties to Iran, or get some patsy to admit to the attack 'for the sake of Iran'... Scary how easy it would be to do!
