Reuters: Occupy Wall St. resurgence a dud

(Transcript) Occupy Wall Street was planning to make a big comeback, taking aim at old targets like Bank of America and headquarters of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. empire. But the demonstration lacked the crowds of the protest's early days, leading many to question if the movement has any movement left. Political strategist Henry Sheinkopf says this group's day in the spotlight is fading fast because it lacks one clear message everyday Americans can rally behind.

This guy has become the face of citizen journalism, he livestreamed yesterday in NYC for over 15 hours. Anyone curious to see honest, true coverage of OWS events and actions should keep this channel in mind, he also has hundreds of hours archived on this UStream channel.

At about the 45 minute mark Tim gets an above the street view of the march (after the labor groups passed) for a comparison to Reuters "report". The true estimate of yesterdays march through the streets of New York is closer to 30,000 people. Of course that number includes union groups and people that just decided to join in for the hell of it.

Here's an archived video from last night's GA (general assembly). The crowd there broken up into 3 or 4 large groups...low estimate 1,000-2,000 people.

Uhh Reuters is right. It's a dud. Recent polls show 80%+ of the population doesn't care about OWS, and the vast majority of Americans are currently more pissed off at the Government than businesses.
Reuters is also right in that OWS has no message.. it's just a bunch of people doing a bunch of different things. You had labor unions with only one goal: Get a democrat elected to launder money to Unions. You had the hipsters protesting because it's the cool thing to do. The students with legitimate concerns but stupid signs. The absolute asinine tools protesting to allow open border immigration and amnesty for illegals (Hell I drop all support for OWS right there). And then you had the "anarchist" without a cause, trying to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble.

OWS is just..... sad

Polls...even if accurate, and to this date no pollster has ever asked me a damn thing, how can an uninformed public pass accurate judgement on a movement the media tells them nothing about or flat out lies in regard to? That is ultimately why I posted the comparison, thank-you for helping me articulate.
