Okay I was looking at videos and this one caught my attention. Is it a hoax? Any idea what it is?

It looks like an electric bolt / lightning. This is new to me so if you know anything about it can you share your knowledge without flaming me please. thanks.

Certainly an interesting find worth some looking into, I guess someone on here will tell you its a flying bug

Look closely, it starts behind the bushes, exactly at the moment the Mum&kid would be able to see it.

My take: swampgas OR

Its staged. Someone threw a tennis ball from the left and it ended behind the bushes. The two were actually walking backwards. Then they played it backwards to make it look forward.

I was suspicious because of where it begins at the corner of the house it just looks strange.

I'm leaning toward hoax but like I said I have limited knowledge of crazy lightning bolts.

Its a bug.

Flying close to the camera, in bad light conditions.

You can see someone fire something at 0:05.

They are left of the satellite dish, just above the path.

Quick analisis gives the indication of a flying bird. The bird starts out just to the left of the small bush and goes toward the dish. Then the bird changes direction and flies up toward the camera.

The bird just past the bush

Here the bird has just made its turn and is flying toward the camera

Again the bird flying in an upward direction toward the camera

The shutter speed of the camera taking this video is slow enough that the speed of the bird and it's wings causes distortion so it is blurred in the video

Sounds good to me.

I thought maybe it was a pissed off ET firing his zapper at somebody.

It's not a damn me a picture of a bug that looks like that.

(you people and your bugs.) Did I ever tell you the story about the fly that fell in love with me?

Once upon a time not so long

I would say it's a rag or something tied to a line thats pulled really really fast. You can see the object go slowly behind the tree from left to right before it zooms up towards the camera.
