I recognize it, and it so happens that people are being fed up with double standards and are finally getting fed up and getting enough "balls" to post things as such.

The St. Trayvon thread is what started it and quite frankly threads like this should've been started earlier. Look at S.A. for crying out loud.

Being a realist, you should know that their are those who wish to push an easy target...

Race bias is easy... doesn't take much, easy to identify, and an easy excuse for those who seek one..

The causation is on a higher level.. they are the one's who deserve contempt, not those who are trying to just get by..

Last time I looked, just trying to get by isn't a race issue...

The point is to point out he hypocrasy in our society. If we keep things bottled up and don't talk about them we can't fix them but, if we bring things up and talk about them like grown ups we can discuss them and have a better chance at fixing the issues.

I say, if the goal is to point out hypocrisy, there are plenty of great places to start other than racial attacks. Like the fact that 50 years ago, I couldnt drink out of the same water fountain as a black man. But everything is all peachy and great now, so lets forget that ever happened, shall we?

Or perhaps we should report about the hypocrisy whereby people every day ignore thousands of killings of balck on hispanic, arab on white, chinese on mexican? There are millions of news stories out there....

how recent should one go? 50 years? 10? 5? communities are starting to change as quickly as technology was and is. and especially ere in the devided states, it's as confusing as ever. EVERYONE should be able to express thier views about everything including race. i for one am tired of everyone but whites bein able to so proudly and loudly express thier views but whenever a white says anyting but equality, they are racist. i WILL NOT stand for it

Forster and Rostami wondered if the officer who answered their call treated all crime victims the same way. When Rostami, who admits she was hysterical, tried to describe what had happened, she says the officer told her to shut up and get in the car. So, that just gives them the green light to do as they please. Cops who refuse to take charge of a situation going bad. I'd put that cop on desk duty.

I know cops that would love to clean house. They can't stand that kind of nuisance. Their way of thinking is protecting the other residents that live there as well as any strangers going by. To them, it makes the police department look bad when you do nothing. Just my thoughts.....

IMO, to point out a culprits race or place of origin has no bearing on racism especially if it is commonplace, which for me (my city is located on my avatar) it is commonplace, unless you, yourself, are racist and fear of being called as such.
