I just came up with a new theory that aliens might have bases inside the core of gas giants. It's probable.

How would they survive the desent and how could they build anything on a gas giant and why would they want to.

You are putting rules in place, where you dont even know if they follow the same rules.

Just because we are so closed minded that we have to follow the rules on nature. Maybe An ailen culture has diffrent way to deal with problrms of life.
