A paragraph is a separation of text by a blank line, separating thoughts. Single sentences can be paragraphs too. I see two paragraphs

You know what ? You're correct. I actually went to my websters and looked it up. I was always under the impression that a paragraph with pride consisted of at least two or more sentences. But it is true what you say.

Paragraph only has to do with positioning and separation for a new line of thought in the commentary.

I think the confusion comes in school when our english teacher tell us that our paragraphs must be 5 sentences long, and also you can't start a sentence with And or But, another common false teaching.
