Does anyone even remember the Eurythmics? They made the original Sweet dreams song.

No I seem to have forgotten that moment in time LOL!
Ofcourse I remember them!! Why would you ask though?
Did you like them? I liked the song "whose that girl" by them-the music was cool and her voice was unique

Where were they from? I think she spoke with an accent?

Definitely one of those voices that helped define the music of the eighties. What a good musical decade it was, too.

Annie Lennox, a Scot - and that's not "broad" as Scots go: educated Arts student Scots.
Interestingly, on the title: there was an earlier song of that name - C&W - by the great Don Gibson: a splendid version of it by Patsy Cline, and if you've ever heard of the late ( I think) Roy Buchanan (sublime electric guitarist) I'd recommend tracking down his instrumental version: astounding!

Estragon now totters off to dust down his Vera Lynn 78's and his Perry Como collection.
And who says "stereo" is better?
