Graves Of Muslim Soldiers Desecrated In France, page 1

PARIS -- The graves of several Muslim soldiers in a cemetery in southeastern France were desecrated over the weekend, officials said Monday. The French president called the act "a slur" on the country's history.

This is not the first times muslim graves have been decerated in France.

On September 24, 2010. Between 20 and 30 muslim gravestones have been damaged and swastikas were drawn on the gravel of the cemetery, in the city of Strasbourg.

This incident reminds me of the one that happend recently in Libya, where muslim extremists descerated a British WW2 cemetery :

That thread turned into a rant against every Muslim on this planet.

So, there you go folks, graveyards rampaged in the heart of civilized and christian France for the 2nd time.

This just proves that there are ignorant and bigoted people in every religion/nation/country, not just the Muslim ones.

British soldiers graves were defaced with swastikas etc in France.

Last week, people honored the Australian soldiers that died in Gallipoli/Turkey during Anzac Day. As you may know, Turkey is a Muslim country, and we Turks have done nothing to their graves, Atatürk (the founder of Turkey and the general that led the war of independence against ANZAC and other troops) even said that the dead ANZAC soldiers are now the children of Turkey, eventhough they fought against us.

im lucky to have travelled around france and belgium
visiting ww1 graves trenches and museums
the locals keep the places immaculate
this was back in the early 90s
