What a bunch of BS LOL

Krugman says a without Govt. you get a volatile economy yet that's what we have right now
Stocks going up and down and down and up

Excellent Point by the right Paul that savings can tell us alot about an economy

And Krugman says RP wants to go back many years behind when Govt. had a limited role but this is today
RP replies by saying Krugman wants to go thousands of years back where the Romans spent until they dropped!

Who Wins?

Paul or Paul?

Krugman clings to the outdated FOSSIL of Keynesian economic philosophy and he's unrepentant about it and unwilling to concede that it is failing.

Krugman believes there is an endless pit in which we must go broke to keep from going more broke.

And what is hilarious is that people like Ron Paul, Friedman, and Hayek were RIGHT about what was going to happen and they were proven right, while the Bernankes, Geithners and KURGMANS of the world are wrong. But their pride keeps them in the game of Keynesian revolving doors.

Krugman seems like a retard to me. He says that he wants to be in the system that allowed his parents to flourish. It flourished because they got into a ton of DEBT! 15+ TRILLION! Someone has to pay that back! Krugman will not be alive to see it paid back! Yeah that is a fantastic system! Take out loads of loans then pass the bill onto future generations to have to pay back!

I mean if there was no debt and actually the government were in PROFIT and earning money on the savings they are amassing, then I could see him having a point! But that is NOT the case! I don''t get why people can't see this. I don't understand how people can think it's okay to pass debt onto their children and their grandchildren! That is not even taking into account the INTEREST on the debt! It's the oposite of what you want surely?

What business could run like that? For instance say you made cars for a living. You make a car that costs 1000 to produce, but you sell it for 500! Yeah people will be over the moon to get such a good deal! But what will happen? How will you account for the deficit? Well you will have to borrow some money! Fantastic now you can build even more cars that will earn you a loss and you will have to borrow even more! This is a downward spiral to OBLIVION! But of course the Krugman who buys the cheap car will love it and want it to continue! IT CANT and WONT!

Krugman makes money off of this overly and unnecessarily complicated system! They use stupid terms that people just do not understand! A bit like the legal system and the medical industry! Because the language is so murky and convoluted people just TRUST what the so called EXPERTS say ( my step-dad used to say that ex is a has been and spurt is a drip! lol). This is the problem, people need to see through this ridiculous charade!

1) You do know that Reagan was a (GASP) Celebrity right?

2) Without limited government controls over interstate commerce (you know like what is prescribed in the US Constitution Article I Section 8) you would have things like Monopolies, rampant people like Bernie Madoff, unsafe horrid working conditions, non existent living wages, and shoddy dangerous products.

But keep worshiping a dead actor and a obviously senile old man

Well, I think my views on Ron Paul and the Federal Reserve are well known, so my opinion on who "won" here is somewhat bias. But I would like to say that I was impressed that these two men were allowed to discuss the issue without a lot of interrupting by either the reporters or the opposition. Nice to see a little civil discourse where each side is allowed to fully explain their positions. I could watch an hour or two of that.

BTW, the Federal Reserve sucks and Ron Paul is the man.

This seems like a crazy comment to me. What is the government if not a monopoly? What is the FED if not a monopoly? The state is FULL of monopolies! Yet you think fighting monopolies with a monopoly is a good idea? Really?

How many dangerous products has the state endorsed? Like agent orange and DDT, to name but a couple. Was it the state that exposed them and shut them down? NO! It was the people that exposed these things! It was the people that piled pressure on these things to get them to stop!

It's like junk food, there is a TON of it everywhere! Where is the state? They do not care! But PEOPLE think you know what, I'll make my own food products that are organic and sell them! Guess what happens? People decide what to buy! Organics is flourishing because of it!

People are forced to work multiple jobs just to get by! Where is the state? They do not care! I would much prefer to chose where I work! If a company had a bad safety record then I wouldn't work there and more fool anyone that decided to!

With the day and age of the INTERNET people can find out facts about a company by the press of a few buttons! Then they can make up their own minds about what to buy and where to work! People are relying on the state to tell them what is OKAY, this is a big, big mistake!

I loved it Paul clearly has the command of facts on his side ... But that is the closest I think I have seen him come to sugar coating reality in video 2 at the end ... "Will you support Romney" .... Then he did what he does so well told the truth . ..Romney is 100% diametrically opposed to Ron Paul beliefs ...
I wish he had said Hell No I wont support him !

Ron Paul is one tough guy. He was not giving up one cent for that big gov spokesman. And that is exactly what is needed right now for every citizen of US of A to do. Not a cent more to the big government. Fight for the constitution - this is the moment. Do not give in, do not give up. Constitution was written by men, who saw this day would come, when cons would try to take over, and kick liberty and civil rights out, enforce corporate socialism, tax payer funded federal superpower, enslaving you and me. This is the moment to fight back. Restore the constitution, and kick the pharisees out from the temple.

This subject is over my head and a lot of other peoples heads as well. What I do know is doing more of the same thing that got the US economy where it is now is utterly moronic. We already know the outcome. How anyone can defend the policy and continue this route of destruction is either an idiot or hopes we are. Personally I believe they hope we are. While our lives are being destroyed they are lining their personal pockets and laughing all the way to the bank with our money they have stolen. Even if Ron Paul was wrong could it actually get much worse.

Krugman couldn't keep up with all the crazy falling out of Ron Paul's head.

We got out of the depression by lowering taxes? Really Ron Paul, really?! I'm sure it had nothing to do with the enormous amount of government spending or regulations imposed on banking instutitions.

How can you people believe that guy?

No, contrary to popular idiocy, FDR's "New Deal" junk was nothing more than, well...junk. Without the Social Security Act this nation would be tens of trillions of dollars wealthier. All those bureaucracies he created didn't do a thing. Government spending on useless programs does not fix a country's financial situation, it only makes it worse.

Really? All those jobs programs the government spent money on (Civilian Conservation Corps, Works Progress Administration, Public Works Administration, etc.) didn't create jobs? Glass-Steagall didn't impose regulations that actually helped the American people?

None of that happened? According to Paul we just lowered taxes and BAM! depression over.

Man, even if I was clueless about Ron, I would be impressed.
I can't imagine Romney or Obama having the ability to articulate our monetary issues like Ron does.
I just don't understand why so many American's don't want this kind of intelligence in the White House.
the hell is the matter with people?

Ron Paul: You go to jail if you use anything else!
Paul Krugman: That's not what I've heard, you can do barter with all kinds of stuff.

Seriously... is this guy smoking crack? What... I suppose he expects us to start using eggs and rice as a currency.

Ron Paul: You want him to print more money faster!
Paul Krugman: Well of course I do!

Wow... yes, it appears he is on crack folks. He has very shifty eyes.

It seems as if he keeps looking to someone for advice on what to say.

Krugman DESTROYED Ron Paul.

Ron Paul's dying words were when he said the economic upturn of post WWII had anything to do with cutting spending. Yeah Ron, we shut down the war machine but kept the American Industries flourishing. The only money slashed from the budget was military expenditures. Tell THAT to your right-wing nuts. Why not tout the resurgence of American Industry, Ron? Oh, because you'd rather the free market dictate that Foreign Industry saves money for the corporations. Sorry Ron, you can't hide under your fake wool anymore. You're a corporate wolf determined to make the entire country poor by lacking "real" money. Goodbye Mr. Paul, you won't be missed. Your campaign is OVER.
