CBS finally caved-in to report the "Fast & Futious" news overlooked by the MSM.

Now, the Associated Press, long in the Obama Administration's pocket, has allowed their true colors to come through, and is reporting that they have undisclosed information that U.S. and NATO forces are facing increasing attacks from Afghani police and militias.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S.-led military coalition in Afghanistan is under-reporting the number of times that Afghan soldiers and police open fire on American and other foreign troops.

The coalition ... does not report the instances in which an Afghan wounds U.S. or NATO troops or misses his target.

Officials acknowledge the attacks ... as they work increasingly closely with Afghan troops in preparation for handing off security responsibility.

The Associated Press has learned that just last week, two U.S. soldiers were wounded when Afghan policemen opened fire on them. The Afghans were quickly killed, and the incident was not reported by the international coalition.

A P EXCLUSIVE: US not reporting all Afghan attacks

Given that we know the US is negotiating with the Taliban, even as they target and kill our servicemen and women, is anyone surprised that we are hiding the atrocities of our "allies" against those very same servicemembers?

It doesn't really suprise me. IMO the reason it's not reported as often is because it does't get as many viewers (higher ratings) as more menial topics, such as who Kim Kardashian is tweeting about today. I've been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq multiple times and I can tell you first hand that the majority of insurgent attacks on US and coalition forces somehow just don't make the MSM news.

That is a surprise why? TPTB learned their lesson from Viet Nam, doesn't matter which "party" is in power, the "news" will only report sunshine and gummie bear rain drops to keep the $$$ rolling in.

FWIW, I'd fight any and all foreign invaders who were on my land.

Just an observation but would it not be very hard to hit an American serviceman all the way over here in America? Maybe TPTB should not put our people there in Afghanistan in harm's way! Perhaps those responsible for our troops deployment should be handling things personally over there!

I have relatives in the RA (Regular Army) and Speical forces who have served there, and they are in agreement that if we knew, "play-by-play", what was happening on the ground, and what our people face, this would be a differrent situation.

Our saoldiers' hands are tied while the Obama administration "negotiates" with terorists who have never had any intention of honoring any "agreement" with the US.

We are being played for idiots at our soldiers' expense.

The most accurate reporting of casualties is usually by icasualties.org. They get their data from military and other sources and now if the military is telling them a lot less, these numbers can be very skewed.

Also elite unit engagements may be classified. There is of course the possiblity they are covering up a failed method of warfare where the Generals have to authorize all engagements and the soldiers under fire shoot anyway.

They want to pretend that the war is going well with virtually no losses, which if that were the case why would the war go on for ten years? They may not do this intentionally but they invite conspiratorial thinking due to their dishonesty.

Even the liberal, pro-Obama Hyffington Post has given in to the hard reality that our current "strategy" is leading to an increasing number of allied deaths and assaults by the very people who are supposed to be watching our back:

The U.S.-led military coalition in Afghanistan is under-reporting the number of times that Afghan soldiers and police open fire on American and other foreign troops.

The coalition routinely reports deliberate attacks in which a coalition soldier is killed by an Afghan in uniform. But it does not report the instances in which an Afghan wounds U.S. or NATO troops or misses his target.

Officials acknowledge the attacks are a worrisome problem for the U.S. and its military partners as they work increasingly closely with Afghan troops in preparation for handing off security responsibility by the end of 2014.

Last week, two U.S. soldiers were wounded when Afghan policemen opened fire on them. The Afghans were quickly killed, and the incident was not reported by the international coalition.

Afghanistan Soldier Attacks On American, Foreign Troops Underreported

Unless we dig for the facts that the MSM is hiding, no one will realize the true cost of Obama's appeasement and incompetence.
