Unfortunately my monitor is no longer able to display red or any derivative of red. Everything is a sickly green/yellow colour with the occasional blue. Even the pixy baby has a greenish tint

That means that the ATS Wallpaper Competition will have to be pixyless for a while, at least until I manage to get another monitor.

Does anyone think I should make the Alien reflection more obvious?

I don't think so kinglizard.

I think when it's viewed at the correct resolution it's just about perfect. Subtle enough to miss if you just glance at the image, but strong enough to catch your eye when you look.

Then again, I suppose it could depend on the viewers monitor setting.

Thanks for the advice Jack. I think I'll leave it as is. I was going for a subtle image because it's more interesting if it's not right in your face. Thanks again...

Advice to all...

Remember the size requirement rule (hint: not just 1024x768) and when putting on the ATS wording, logo, whatever...put it up a bit from the bottom. Most desktops have a taskbar etc that covers the bottom of the screen. You'll want to put it up a bit so it can be seen.

All I have to say is that I underestimated the artists of this community. There are plenty more ATS artists out there other than Kinglizard and Zedd. Keep up the good work guys!

4 1/2 years on disability.I was bored.
But to ME,art/design is unique to each person.Where a design may not appeal to one,it appeals to another.
Thats what is funny about art.A single design is different from others, but is no better.
Mine are no better than anyones here, they are just different.Thats how I see art anyway Everyone is creatively different is all.

Now I get it. My eyes were messed up from seeing bright lights all day. I showed it to my friend, and she seemed to get the alien after couple of seconds of look, so no worries.
