So it sounds like we have nothng to worry about and we can play our little war games and if there is a nuclear bomb headed our way, they will take care of it. Is that what you're saying?

If a nuke was heading your way, I'd suggest you put your head between your knees and kiss you a$$ goodbye.
Why would our imaginary friends save us? The fictional aliens never saved the people of Hiroshima or Nagasaki from the A-bombs.

good point!
but this time, isn't it inevitible that if one bomb is launched, another one will follow from somewhere else... and then another... and another...

Lets just hope that never happens eh. Even the maddest mofo knows that to strike first will bring about his own destruction. It's kinda like a fundemental law of nature.....
But the mad stateless mofo...well that might be another thing all together.

If a nuke will be launched, the aliens will not save us... just the same way, we don't save the animals from their enemies.

If an asteroid was heading to us, the aliens would probably save their own species located on Earth, or they would die...

Therefore, the humans would be saved, too.

If a massive war would take place, and everyone would start killing each other, probably the aliens would either leave, or would start experimenting on the wildlife.

Ummmm little thing called the Chicxulub crater www.space.com...
Lol do you believe that the Ice-age was a nuclear winter?

Personally, I am aware of the studies on that impact, and the Ice Age, too... it is another thing, that I don't believe them. It is too early to suggest that an asteroid hit the Earth, and caused the death of the dinos, as all of it is only based on a crater, and some research.

My opinion, is that we should wait until we see such an impact from a distance.

So if we see a flock of UFOs shooting off for the stars like a big flock of geese flying south, we know we're in deep sh*t.

That is of course, if there are indeed aliens on Earth. And if there were, whats stopping them from packing up their experiment and heading back to where ever/when ever they came from?
If there were aliens on Earth...what do they eat? Cattle rectums? Corn? Do they breathe O2? Maybe they need us to toxify our planet to a sufficient level that reproduces their own enviroment, and once we have achieved this, we then become surplus to requirement. If there indeed aliens on Earth and were as advanced as they are given credit for, would we seem to them as mindless ant-like group-thinkers?
Are there really aliens on Earth, or are they the modern version of the omnipotent super-being that watches out for us, with out ever interacting with us?
People suggest that the American military powers that be, don't want you to know that they have alien tech. I reckon that is exactly what they want you to think....saves from the embarrassment of fessing up where some of this technology post WW2 really came from, and it makes the American military, and America look more mightier and competent than they really are.
"Yeah we are so number 1, that ET chose our country to crash in".
Heres the loophole in the story that seems most obvious....Aliens are credited with not just advanced technology, but super advanced mental abilities, and contol over reality it'self, that leave us with missing time and other weirdball oddities......yet not only do their UFO's fall out of the sky during thunderstorms, they can't even retrieve their wreckage and erase our memories of the events. You'd think that while the military were standing around patting themselves on the back over their UFO retrieval, and having their photos taken next to the recovered disk ZANNNNNG suddenly they are standing in an empty hangar with their pants around their ankles, scratching their heads as to what, why and how they came to be standing in an empty hangar with their pants down....not to mention no memories of yesterday.

it is another thing, that I don't believe them.

Well these are indeed strange time that we live in. All sorts of rational scientific research and discoveries are been replaced with pseudo-religous superstition. Maybe this is what it was like at the beginning of the dark ages when all that learning was replaced with fairytales.

Yep, 'If' there are aliens on Earth... what would take them destroying an asteroid? ? Nothing. Should this be the reason for them to leave us? Wouldn't it be more fascinating to see us killing each other and wiping the planet? Probably, this is what they want to see, not an asteroid hitting the Earth !!
