Obama has held more re-election fundraisers than previous five Presidents combined as he visits key swing states on 'permanent campaign'

Barack Obama has already held more re-election fundraising events than every elected president since Richard Nixon combined, according to figures to be published in a new book. Obama is also the only president in the past 35 years to visit every electoral battleground state in his first year of office.

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Really more re-election fundraising events than any other president since Nixon. Could be a sign of things are not what they seem and a very possible take that Obama is in trouble.

No record to run on it seems things come full circle "promise them everything" get all your political duckies in a row "make them feel special" and "whisper sweet nothings" in their ears and coast right on to 4 more years.

Of course all that campaigning he must be vewwy vewwy tired aww Mr. President Go take a Vacation you deserve "one".

So it's the end of April so how much has the "Great savior of the Republic" gotten?

According to opensecrets www.opensecrets.org... only 200 million dollars well short of the staggering 750 million all those "people" gave him last time.

Wow Mr President $500 million shortfall better get moving pull out all the stops!

He's drowning.

He's desperate.

The quicksand is getting deeper.

He can't seem to reach the rescue rope.

The apples are falling off the tree and hitting every branch on the way down.

The squirrels are rushing for the acorns on the ground.

The supporters are stepping in their own traps.

People are jumping ship as it sinks.

Obama can raise all the money he likes.

Still isn't going to do him any good.

I think there will be a tipping point where all the distractions and 'cool guy' imagery just starts ticking people off. The independents are looking at Romney right now and saying 'ewww, boring.' But wait until he raises cash, starts hitting the air-waves and the conventions/debates start. Romney's boringness is going to start looking presidential. No, its going to REMIND people of what presidential looks like. That's when the TSWHTF for Obama.

WOW!! Another impressive "FIRST" for Obama. He's racking em' up in such a short period of time. Wonder when we will find out about how much he charges for guests to stay in the Lincoln Bedroom? We already know that the "Situation Room" is up for grabs to anyone who writes the Check.

Remember this?
www.huffingtonpost.com...

Perhaps the Secret Service Prostitution Scandal should focus on Obama for whoring himself out so readily and without shame or consideration.

They all have Super PACs, though. There is no way to know where that money comes from. With fundraisers, you can at least tell where the money is.

I'm not praising him for his fundraisers; just saying that we have no clue as to how he compares to other politicians as far as actual money raising.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here?

Obama knows that to compete against Romney and his rich friends Super PACS he is going to have to raise a lot of money...so he needs fundraisers...how very evil of him.

And you are trying to suggest he is falling way short of his 2008 fundraising...and he really isn't. At this time in 2008 he had raised around 262 million, right now he is around 200 million. In 2008 he had a surge in fundraising due to the primary challenge...this year he doesn't have that. Most of his funds will come in the third quarter of this year...July, August, September.

But I guess you can make it sound like he is 500 million short...if that makes you feel better.
