Okay, guys. This thread gets about 2 pages of posts in about a minute, so it's gotten extremely hard to respond to -everything- when I have to do things like, sleep. The problem is, MOST of these responses all share a common theme - they ask "Why does it matter?" "Do you really care about who sleeps with who?" and things like that.

There are people claiming I'm a typical Christian, there are people claiming I'm not a Christian at all.
There are people claiming I'm a bigoted pig, and there are some who think I have an agenda.
There are people claiming I'm making implications that I'm not, that I'm making assumptions and pointing fingers.

Let's make one thing clear.

I don't care who you sleep with.

I care about knowledge. I care about where this supposed "inherited" gene came from, if it even EXISTS.

Here's what I've gotten so far, from all the responses -
The gene does exist, Homosexuals are born that way just like people who are left handed are born that way.
The gene doesn't exist, because genetics cannot predict behavior, desires, attractions.
It's a choice, with testimonies of homosexuals who pursue heterosexual relations and never went back.
It's not a choice, with testimonies of homosexuals who simply are NOT attracted to the opposite gender.
It's effected by environment, or at least a factor, as two parents who are in the medical field, increases the child's odds of him being in the medical field.
It's not effected by environment, as there are stories of children adopted by homosexual parents that are purely heterosexual when they grow up.

After all this, I think we can safely come to the conclusion..

What gender one is experiencing, or what gender one is attracted to,
is chosen "prior" to an incarnation. It is within one's soul contract and
the soul's blueprint for the balancing of energy.
The awareness/realization of this takes place through the expansion of

I'm not saying that you have to agree with homosexuality. I'm not saying that you have to agree with ANYTHING. All I'm saying is that your opinions aren't going to make a difference. If somebody has made a choice, there's nothing that you can do about it. Go do something productive instead of trying to alter the way others choose to live their lives.

I know this: if God says it's wrong.....regardless of what IT is....it's wrong. People are FREE to choose the lifestyle they want to live. You want to be homosexual, fornicator, adulterer, whoremonger, liar, thief, etc, etc...be that. Nobody is FORCING you to live the straight and narrow. It's a LIFESTYLE! You have to CHOOSE that lifestyle...and it aint for everybody. It requires CHANGE and DISCIPLINE. Somethings don't cut it in God's kingdom. But, people can keep believing that religious mumbo jumbo...if they want.

If i tell my children...don't touch the stove because it's hot, and they could burn their hands! But, they don't listen and they touch it; and burn their hands. Who's fault is it? Unfortunately....children don't LISTEN...and adults think they're grown and know what's "best". This is why sometimes.....Daddy needs to teach HIS children a LESSON. They just DON'T GET IT.

I once heard someone relate that a study was made on the brains of homosexuals and those that aren't and they discovered that homosexuals have a part of the brain that's missing which straight people have. If it's true then homosexuality is genetic, biological, or whatever you call it. It's a brain abnormality.

Concerning genetics from what I've seen homosexuality and bisexuality are either inherited or happen by chance. If both parents are bisexual then there's a higher chance of their children being gay. If one parent swings both ways then there's a bigger likelihood that his/her offspring will be gay as compared to both parents being straight. But it's not always dependent on the parents - the parents can both be straight but if a grandparent or an uncle/aunt isn't then a child of the couple could inherit their relative's homosexuality. And so on and so forth.

For instance in a family that has five siblings if four are gay then you can say homosexuality runs in the family, and it's highly likely that at least one of the parents is gay. But if in a family of five siblings only one is gay then you could say the family is predominantly straight and the gay child is the odd one out. That's usually the case
in most families from what I've seen; as the saying goes, "There's always one in the family".

This is a troll post. My God "instructs" me that the act of homosexual relations is a sin. A man loving a man is perfectly fine. A woman loving a woman is perfectly fine. Love is encouraged, lust isn't, in ANY case (even between a man and woman).

You stated that nowhere in your OP did you say homosexuals choose their sexual preference. Why question the validity then of deoxyribonucleic acid determining our sexual orientation? Why does it matter? Asking the question at all infers that you disbelieve the theory. Either you wanted to start something or you didn't.

There are numerous journals and articles on the web detailing and supporting the theory that our DNA is the boss of our sexual destiny. Maybe your deity can give you instructions on how to perform a Google search. It might be simpler to just accept that some people have blue eyes, some have red hair, some have rare blood disorders or anomalous physical attributes, and some people are gay. Unless you are either a genetic researcher or a mean-spirited nasty creature who lives under a bridge and likes to get people riled up, there's really no need to make an issue out of it.

Will take it a step further. A friend of mine comes to my gym...and she brings her son and her male friend, who has that homosexual 'spirit' in him. How do i know? It's OBVIOUS...when you've lived around them. As we're all working out...i noticed her son...age 12..and her friend...much older...kinda like rubbin' up against each other...and what not. I started thinking to myself....girl...don't you see your son brushing up against this grown azz man? Hellooooooooo??? It's not something a father would do with his son....that's for SURE! And, sorry to say...but that's how the seed always get planted. It's always someone close to the family that plants it...and the world just WATERS AWAY. Before you know it...the boy forgets about his puberty years..and tah-dah...he was born that way.

Now, i hug and kiss my daughters.....ALL THE TIME. I'm constantly showing them affection...because they're girls...and i want them to know how a man is supposed to treat his lady. But, i would NEVER show that same kind of affection to my son. Not the way i do with my daughters. That responsibility belongs to my wife.

I have 5 girls...and i've asked all of them.....are you gay? do you like other girls? And they emphatically said, "no ewwwwww". And i said, 'good'...now you can't ever say: "you were born that way".

Uh, i care so much because of HISTORY's PAST. Ironic how the name Sodomy came about. Isn't it??? This is what i would advise the ENTIRE world....based on my fairy tale 'beliefs'.....change course...before it's too late.
