I don't know why some people only see global warming as the basis of this thread. Are they blind or something. I see colony collapse from chemicals, deforestation, and fish dying from pollution and radiation along with climate change/global warming. You can't take things apart and try to trash one part of it by itself to dismiss the rest of the thread. That's like saying the trigger on a gun isn't going to hurt you when someone has the loaded gun pointed at your head.

Measuring a temperature in a city, surrounded by concrete, will result in your beautifull typical graph. Heat from cars, see? That's LOCAL warming, not GLOBAL.

I believe bees issue can be a localised problem. Chemicals are certainly the problem.

The Planet Earth is a self correcting system. It is not the Earth you should worry about but Humanity! Think of the planet like a Fish Tank. When the water is too cold...the fish die off...when too warm...they also die off...if it is just a bit too warm...things like algae grow out of control and the fish die.

If conditions are perfect and the fish start breeding to point there are too many fish...the excrement from the fish poison the water and again...the fish will die off until a balance is reached.

If the Fish Tank has a violent even occur such as an electrical outage causing the filter and oxygenator to cease working...most fish will die off but the few who survive will bread once electricity has been restored and their young will be stronger and able to survive much easier such an event...of course as with the Earth...if the electricity is off for too long or say with the Earth...a large Comet or Asteroid hits that causes total Extinction of the fish or with the Earth...all life except the Microbial...and in the Fish Tank just certain single celled organisms....then you will have to wait a long time before you will see fish again. Billions of Years!

The Earth has had this happen many times...Earth has self corrected all issues...the Earth will be fine...the same cannot be said for Humanity. Split Infinity

Michael Crichton is a fiction writer, not a scientist.

He does (did) copious amounts of research on his projects and included as much actual science as possible to make his stories believable.

The GW doomsdayers hate Crichton because he knows their game all to well. He is definitely right in exposing them.

You have your facts about global warming mixed up.

Europe and the United States are actually cooling right now. It is the arctic, and the rest of the world that are heating up.

Europe and the US have relatively warm climates due to the earth's currents, and in the process of the earth warming up, Europe will receive less air from the warm north atlantic current, and will receive more air from the cold siberian currents. This leads to a cooling, rather then a warming.

Average temperatures on earth, the whole earth, are warming.

Here's another one to add to your vids - Petro Chem/Radiation Cloud at West Coast Now! Fukushima will lead to a Mass Extinction that includes humans if we don't find the technology to stop this catastrophe - 13 months of doom spilling into the air and the ocean just waiting for one more earthquake to tip reactor No. 4 one little bit. - Oh they just took another quake I see.

If this Cloud don't get ya - the next one will.

Global warming better occur....We've been cold up here in the U.P. for too long....They keep promising that it's going to get warmer.....I want to believe in global warming I'll never believe those who say it's a lie.

i agree with you and the majority of scientists. the main stream media has downplayed climate change so much in the last few years that more and more people are buying into the "global warming is a hoax" story. the real conspiracy is that climate change is real and the big corporations don't want to quit dumping pollution because if they have more rules to follow their profits will be cut. the real conspiracy is that more and more people are believing the big corporations.....

i think it's too late. things are changing at an exponential rate.

it's not a popular view here on ATS. most of the people who believe in climate change have given up posting here.
