"You can't wake someone who is pretending to be asleep." ~ Native American Proverb
Trees everywhere will be dying (it's going on right now).
People will build a house a throw it in the sky (Skylab, Mir, the current space station)
Cold places will become hot and hot places cold (that is happening with global warming, global weather patterns are changing)
Land will sink beneath the sea and rise above it (such changes have already begun)
The appearance of a blue star (in 1987 a blue star made its presence known when a hot, blue super-giant exploded and made world history as a spectacular supernova)
There will be paths in the sky (airplane contrails and chemtrails)
There will be cobwebs in the air (power lines all over the United States)
A "gourd of ashes" will be dropped from the sky to burn the land and boil the oceans (atomic bomb)
These signs are pretty obvious, and all have come to pass.
"Don’t shake, America. This is only what You have brought upon yourself.” ~ Chief Geronimo

"The Hopi prophesied that "Turtle Island (America) could turn over two or three times and the oceans could join hands and meet the sky." This seems to be a prophecy of a "pole shift" -- a flipping, of the planet on its axis. The Hopi call this imminent condition -- and that of society today -- "Koyaanisqatsi", which means "world out of balance...a state of life that calls for another way. "
"Micheal Crichton was too intelligent and rational a soul to not see global warming for what it was...A means of imposing global government and banking derivatives for profit based on pseudoscience. Only now after his death and the proof that researchers were forging data have we finally beaten back these claims. The Earth was here long before us and we have not the power to destroy this 4 Billion year old planet...Only ourselves."
"The people of the Hopi first, second and third worlds did not heed warnings about the consequences of their excesses. The parallel is compelling. Contemporary industrial society has produced quantities of greenhouse gases and the subsequent global warming is producing weather patterns never seen before in some parts of the world. We experience more intense storms, unprecedented hurricanes, longer droughts, and the prospect of melting ice caps producing rising ocean levels that are already threatening some islands with destruction.
Scientists can be offered monetary rewards to discover that the evidence of global warming is controversial evidence of the greed mentioned in the Hopi story and politicians are aware that the steps needed to reverse the trend are going to be unpopular and that the public is not clamoring for such measures." Measuring a temperature in a city, surrounded by concrete, will result in your beautifull typical graph. Heat from cars, see? That's LOCAL warming, not GLOBAL.
