One of the main things for me after researching so many things and seeing how people have been messed up so much, is compassion. And one of the hardest things I often read is about how we deserve to become extinct, we should be allowed to wipe eachother out, etc. After meditating on and off for so long I just can't fathom that mindset.
So when it comes to situations like this I think caring for the well being of others and having respect for them, be they animals, humans, aliens, is the most important thing. And when you read around about all these exopolitics stories it often seems like many of the aliens seem about as lost as many of us are. Yes a lot of them might have the technology and increased mental powers, etc, but if some of the stories are true it seems like it's not only humans that need help around now, but even many of them too.
Of course, many will be way ahead of us when it comes to caring for others, but I keep getting the feeling that it's not only humans that need some help.
And finally, saying we deserve to become extinct, we're all to blame and so on, what about the massive, massive amounts of people that are decent and want what's for the best of the all? Tens of millions of people that meditate and care for others, who try not to contribute to the mess we're in but help solve things instead. All the people from various religions that see people equally and try their best to be good. All the decent mothers, fathers, children, sisters and brothers that try not to cause problems for others and just want to live their lives as peacefully as possible. The artists, musicians, writers, actors and actresses that work to inspire others to better things, all the activists in the world helping raise awareness of issues that we should know about. And all those from so many other professions that keep some type of way of life working, and who without, the world would come to a grinding halt overnight.
They don't deserve to become extinct, and if you think they do maybe you should work on your own compassion and awareness? Even people that have messed things up and are doing bad things, they deserve some type of hope of redemption or the whole thing is futile. It's easy to think we're "woken up" at a certain stage, but so many of us have so much more to learn about the way we're all connected.
So even if there's a load of messed up aliens and people that work for them, or are pretty much forced to work for them, there's a way bigger picture to what's going on and a lot for us to learn. I don't really believe in good, but being natural with the way of things instead. And I don't really believe in evil either, but instead, illness. There has to be a way for this absolute mess to be sorted out, and without taking the route of wiping out billions of us, or allowing us to die off. That way has to be found somehow.edit on 29-4-2012 by robhines because: added

....and you'd connected to our internet, cloaked smaller ships that had travelled around for a month or so, and you'd basically got a good idea of what was going on, and exactly which Humans were responsible for the current mess.
And the fleet of ships were waiting on your decision about what to do next. What would your next step be?

What would you do if you turned up in Earth's orbit with a fleet of ships?
