OMG! They aren't small neither!

Wow, there has to be a trend here! The rest of the world is seeing earthquakes also, but those on average are much larger in many areas! That HAS to mean, that this increase in activity MUST translate to a future of North American earthquakes that will be stronger and more frequent. Every one reading this, find a bunker, a steel ball, or a spaceship! Or, just drive across country.

Non of my rhetoric is to be taken seriously, if you didn't catch on to the obvious sarcasm, I suggest enlightening yourself as to the frequency of earthquakes, the implications of their magnitudes, and exactly how insignificant the majority of earthquake threads on ATS truly are.

If you're so concerned about the safety and well being of others... which is seemingly the aim of much of these types of threads. Maybe a role in governance, or helping your local community will actually be worth your time. I'm just sayin'.

so why the OMG about these 22 quakes
CA. is huge and is constantly having small quakes. Many of these are nowhere near each other.

Oh no, I 100% disagree... lets think about this...

Run to the hills, where you do not live, where there is no infrastructure to come crumbling down upon you, that may injure you. To wait for the damage to be done, could mean injury or even possible death.

Running to the hills is a perfect solution! Also, you'd then be more out of the cross-hairs of those greedy elitists that are only using us as slaves and pawns.

Then the rest of the people, that actually address these situations, and the truth of the matter... can work to figure things out. I'm literally 5 miles from the San Andreas and this quake.

It was mostly a sharp jolt and woke me up from a solid sleep (I worked late last night). I thought someone had slammed the garage door, but then my mind processed what had happened and I realized how much I had shaken horizontally.

I do expect this to be a fore-shock, but growing up in this area, you realize that the "big" tremor in a set can be weeks after the initial indicators.

I wish it had been longer to release more pressure. I don't like living so close to a fault.

My attempt is not to humiliate... if that is the result, that is on your own. I clearly stated that this was sarcasm, and then to make a point. NOT to humiliate. It was done to allow people to see how easy it is to jump to conclusions, with out actually applying any real critical thinking. Also, that those who do jump to crazy conclusions should remain silent for at least a little while, until they deny their own ignorance, or can provide any sustenance that would warrant such stances or predictions.

Get smart, or at least adopt some reasoning skills... pick one or both, and you shall be free. Free from believing rhetoric that aims to play off your ignorance.
