It's not going to.
After spending a large amount of my personal time trying to attatch myself to the occupy movement, I've found it so easily apparent that the
occupyers are nothing more than leftist hippie kids who want to cause problems and get a rise out of people.... Instead of trying to effect any
positive changes for society. I faced this same problem with the tea party after they sold out to the republicans.
Initially both the tea party and occupy showed a lot of promise. Now they are both bastardizations of what was really meant to happen. You think
anything is going to change because a handful of idiots stand out in the street?
In my country, the US, we are so far beyond that point in time where protest meant something. We're so far beyond effectively changing anything that
taking to the streets in any fashion other than one that's ready to very literally fight for what they believe in, to fundamentally change the way
Americans live their lives.
The problem is, has been, and always will be, FEAR.
We're so damn afraid to take action against tyrannical laws, and we're so blinded by Hollywood trash, bogus media, and countless other distractions
to even notice that for the last ten years our true, and god given freedoms have been and are being systematically taken from us. It's pathetic.
If occupy really wants to make a positive change they should end their stupid as occupation, start writing massive amounts of letters to their
congress reps, and senators, start writing massive amounts of letters to the white house, and start demanding that these pricks listen to US, the
citizens who pay their effing rediculous government salaries, or penalties will be thought up and executed.
If any one has better suggestions I'm open to them.
Occupy is a flipping joke.
