NBC's Ann Curry Rants: It's 'Fundamentally Unfair' Some Have More Money Than Others

I don't see a problem with some people having more money than others.... some people are better educated, better trained, more productive, more clever, connected, in the right place at the right time, born into the right family, married into the right family, can actually get things done with purpose......but it would be nice to see people not accumulate so much friggin money! When you pay corporate heads tens or hundreds of millions of dollars A YEAR.... that's money that isn't spent on good stuff at the corporation, if nothing else! I have to wonder how much the total pay of the top 10 of 20 or more of the head honchos is vs the Research and Development programs... or health care for the workers.... or donations to charity or local needs. Wouldn't people like to see Corporations doing that? Screw the yachts and 10th homes, the 20th car, the gold plated everything..... give some back, if only because you can't possibly need so much money! Do something genuine for humanity other than an amount your accountant says is good for the right tax break or so you can attend some charity gala ball. Start a new trend in corporate responsibility. Let's see..... 100 million dollars a year.... divided by 365 days a year.... wow, how productive can one person be to earn that?

And of course I watched the 38 second clip. I also read the transcript. That is how I know you took her out of context and left out the words 'work for money'.

She never says its unfair that "some have more money than others' like your ludicrous headline infers.

Why does she need to give her money away?

What does that have to do with anything? She has a 'social conscience' and is talking about a social issue. She isnt saying people cant be rich. She is saying that everyone should play by the same rules.

What issue is she addressing with her money? ANYONE can get up on a soapbox,and talk about the ills of the world. Hell,I just did. I am sure I do more for my community,then this woman. 100% sure. This women ooze's money. She might have earned it,but she is talking about discrepancy's,that shes playing along with ! To be honest,I have more respect for those on this site,who actually went to an Occupy Rally,then her! Oh,BTW,I also went to an Occupy Rally.
