No my friend. A clouded head is one that refuses to engage in rational thinking. Freemarket ideology requires you think all humans are selfish and base creatures. It is an ideology that is all. One that ultimately leads you to see other human beings as less than you and therefore able to be dominated by any means possible. It leads you into thinking war is a necessity. Ultimately it leads all the way to fascism. As you can see right now, as fascist politics is embraced by the governing parties wishing to stay in power in France, in Holland, for just two examples right now. Look at the dictorial power assumed by the US president in recent legislation largely passed in the middle of the night, when you were probably asleep.

Wake up.

The death of the individual nation state means the death of humanity? Where the heck do you pull that one from? Ann Rynd?

I've studied the cabal. I know what they want.

They want a singular global superstate, which everyone is ruled by; and the plan has been to use the appeal of universal socialism as a means of enticing the public to allow them to implement it.

The cabal were the originators of both Capitalism and Communism. They've used both for their own ends. Capitalism was originally deliberately designed to fail, as it is now doing, in exactly the manner in which it is now doing. The goal was to play both ideologies against each other, and to use the failure of Capitalism as a means of persuading the public that a global dictatorship was the only viable solution. We've been had, by a conspiracy of absolutely vast proportions; it's that big that most people refuse to acknowledge that it exists.

Look, the end of nation states means the end of wars. That's it. We realise we are fighting over resources we all have equal rights to.

That's what we are supposed to think, yes.

Heard about the French revolution? You know the one that inspired the American revolution? The French revolution was based around socialist ideals. These socialist ideals were betrayed by an entrenched middle class who realised they would lose the priviliged position if equality was truely given to the masses, and so they encouraged base brutalism to reign on the streets, and a few royal necks to be chopped to appease the masses before themselves putting an end to the revolution in a most brutal manner.

The rest of the public always outnumbers the psychopaths, though. Revolutions could not be betrayed, if it wasn't for the majority of the herd's relentless craving to be ruled by someone else.

The sad thing is, that some people think, "We want our Fuhrer!" was first heard during WW2. The sad, sick reality is that that cry has echoed throughout human history. Watch the film UNGRIP which is linked in my signature; and understand that it is about an idea which most human beings are more terrified of than anything else.

Socialism is about true democracy, arising out of the will of the people.

You just don't get it, do you?

The sheep do not want that.

Read virtually any thread that gets posted in the Social Issues forum on this site; about police brutality, or the police dragging under 10 year old kids to police stations, or the TSA sexually assaulting people; and then notice the number of rationalisers and apologists for that behaviour that are in every single one of said threads.

Most people hate and fear freedom. There is nothing they detest more. The majority want to be ruled by someone else. They equate fascism with security, safety, consistency, and predictability. They want a nice, safe, homogenised, McDonaldised society where literally every second of their lives is centrally planned. More than anything else, they desperately want to be protected from every group on the planet which they consider to be in any way different or a threat to them.

Think I'm wrong? Read the comments in literally any political video on YouTube. Read the Social Issues threads here, as mentioned.

People say they don't know who is to blame for the current move towards totalitarianism, which is a joke. WE are to blame for it, because we endlessly, relentlessly CRAVE fascism. So we're getting exactly what we all want.

"If I Wanted America To Fail" Video Goes Viral, Twitter Suspends Group's Website

www.datelinezero.com

Breitbart.com and HotAir.com both embedded the video on the 22nd. “If I wanted America to fail” got over 120,000 hits in less than 36 hours. (Drudge Report linked to the video later, which helped the video gain a huge amount of visibility.)

And then the Twitter page for Free Market America, the group behind the video, was suspended midway through Earth Day!

Wait -- a video got 120,000 hits in less than 36 hours -- that's nearly as popular as an episode of "bad orange" or a LOL cat.

I just looked at this awesome "HotAir.com" website -- and it wins my "cork on a fork" award for being stupid enough to hurt itself while eating. They had about 3 articles about how Obama proved he was stupid/evil based on a normal white house social function or two. Somehow, everyone Republican was less stupid and evil just because -- somehow, this balances the rampant "Lefties" on all the media who never blame banks or support unions. NPR is so lefty, the let Bernanke statements from the Fed go on air without a rebuttal -- Goldman Sacks is a bunch of commies too! If Communism is using financial services to bankrupt nations and nice kickbacks to buy up senators that is.

I don't need to watch a viral video to figure out how propagandists like Fox News, Breitbart, and Koch brothers want America to fail -- they just want to blame it on someone else who isn't MAKING THE MONEY. If America is going bankrupt -- and you see trillions going into money pits like Big War, Big Oil and Big Banking -- gee, I wonder where the money went.

If I wanted America to fail, I'd just vote for Republicans who tells me that the best we can do is hand everyone a flashlight (OK, sell it to them -- no freeloaders except if they've got a trust fund!), and tell them "good luck."

It's always this "one world government" that is the sinister plot.

The thing is, the Status Quo that runs the world is doing just fine. They've got people in America supporting air craft carriers and such to defend us against nations who dump goods on WalMart. WE are all fighting each other, and we've got poor dumb hicks in Texas guarding the border against Mexicans, while Tyson foods buses in cheap labor to make chicken nuggets like a school bus to Hell.

We fight each other while the "Old World Order" makes more and more money.

Why they heck would the people running things, need to have a One World Government to get more power? Without a pretend enemy -- they couldn't take your money to defend you from paper tigers.

Having a global government doesn't prevent them from creating straw bogeymen. They could just claim that there is a group of regressive insurgents somewhere who don't want to be part of said government.

One thing I've learned is there is a huge segment of people who don't give a damn about the future because they think they won't be here for it. At least 50% of the U.S. believes Jesus is coming back in their lifetime. So why should they give a damn about the environment? They think Jesus is going to come back and fix it all. Now, I'm going to get some flack from religious people saying I am "picking on them". No, I'm just telling you what many people in this country think. You would be surprised at how often I hearing the line of reasoning I just mentioned. Then of course there is a large portion of people who don't give a damn how much damage they do as long as they get theirs.

The problem with these arguments is they are always argued from extremes. It's either extreme individualism or extreme collectivism. There is a middle ground and both schools of "thought" have been necessary for human survival. Many of the extreme individualists might want to remember that your individual right to make money won't matter much if you've screwed the food chain so badly you have nothing to eat or you've polluted your environment to the point you are so sick you can't enjoy your money anyway. The Collectivists might want to concede none of their solutions have worked to this point.

I think you are demonstrating a predilection for conspiracy theories without the prerequisite filter of a rational and logical approach, some healthy cynacism. But there are a lot of people in the same boat. What you need is perspective. You also need to understand history. Not histories, just history. And think about cause and effect. History and the material world. A scientific perspective will set you free of the myths and ideologies attempting successfully as it happens to stop you seeing the truth.

Wake up.

Hey, I don't really want to get into the middle of your debate. I just wanted to clarify somthing you posted.

Heard about the French revolution? You know the one that inspired the American revolution? The French revolution was based around socialist ideals.

The American Revolution inspired the French Revolution. The other way around from what you posted.

Although the seeds of colonial rebellion had been sown much earlier, we didn't declare our independence until July 4, 1776. The British didn't actually leave until 1783, and our constitution wasn't signed until 1784. The Brits did return some years later in force ... burning the White House and such.

And although the seeds of the French rebellion had been sown much earlier, theirs didn't really kick off until 1789 ... six years after our constitution was signed. See 'The Storming of the Bastille". They had problems afterwards as well.

And I am not so sure their revolution was inspired by socialism, but more to throw off the tyranny of the nobility. See'The Declaration of the Rights of Man'.

Ultimately, the French, just like our American forefathers (and most people), really just want to be left alone.

There may be a need for government, but the majority has to agree what that government is and how it should best represent the people. That changes over time, from generation to generation. And sometimes, these governments, no matter the ilk, get hijacked for ... unethical and/or immoral purposes.

Just sayin ...

Cynicism is not healthy at all. I live to a large extent outside the system. Not completely, obviously; because no one can, but I make use of the system in such a way that it allows me to stay outside of it to a somewhat greater extent than most. I have no spouse or mobile phone, among other things.

My point in bringing that up, is to illustrate the fact that, while of course I'm not free of brainwashing and various illusions, I haven't swallowed the Cartesian/falsely rationalistic Kool Aid which has, for most people, replaced Christianity. It's just as much a religion as the old one was, in reality however, and just as much a mockery of genuine logic.

Atheism is not going to gain credibility, at least in my eyes, if after becoming an atheistic majority, human society is even more a mess than it was when everyone was Christian.
