Dinosaur asteroid doomsday theory

Which species of dinosaur are talking about? Are you saying Stegosaurus and Tr-Rex lived happily together in a civilization? They didn't even have the means to use technology. Stegosaurus had four legs, so it couldn't make anything. You need to be able to make things for a civilization, generally, especially one that could could "leave the planet." T-Rex couldn't do anything with such small arms and 2 "fingers" if you want to make it anthropomorphic. This goes for any dinosaur that had arms.

I`d hate to think of a race that could produce metals, alloys ect, without protective gear. Maybe some super thick hide or armoured critters. cant see them doing zumba

What if dinosaurs experienced a doomsday scenario like we imagine our own - what if they had to leave the planet because they were aware of the asteroid that was going to hit earth so long ago
