Do you have any habits considered strange?

Well, heres the thing...I dont really like my food to touch on the plate, that is I like the meat to be separate from the chips,. etc

My idea of excellence is those prison -type compartmentalized plates.

I know its weird, but I like it.

Do any of you have habits or preferences that others see as weird?

I put ketchup on my grilled cheese sandwiches.

I'm addicted to smiley face paraphernalia.

I love to say the word skittles. Skittles skittles skittles.

I come on ATS everyday.

I don't let my food touch either. It's been like that since I was a child. lol
I separate my M&M's by color and then eat them from highest to lowest quantity.
I like the taste of ashes.

I also hate my food to touch... I won't eat it if it does...
I have to peel allll the white stuff off my oranges before I will consider eating it...
I eat my food one thing at a time, and I turn my plate for each new portion...

I hate bacon, pie and chocolate apparently that's a weird thing to some people.. especially chocolate (Since I'm female.)

I will not eat brown M&MS or purple or orange Skittles...

I suppose there are exceptions to everything. M&Ms I can do.. That's about it though.

When I have a Sunday Roast I always start with peas, then eat other veggies, then potatoes then meat. Things like stuffing balls or yorkshire puddings are treats I like to leave til last No one ever said I was odd but I know it's odd because I watch other people eat and they start with different things each time, whereas I always start with peas.

If it's steak and chips I'll start with peas move on to the chips then the steak. Chinese or indian I start with rice then move onto the meat. I have a routine

When I make a hot drink it has to be sugar first then teabag/coffee/cocoa followed by milk then hot water. I can't do it any other way.

I don't like nuts, and when I was a kid I was the weird kid who always asked the icecream man not to put any nuts on my cone, because he always put nuts on and I would spend ages picking them off. Luckily I've developed an allergy to nuts now so I can just say I'm allergic and I don't get weird looks.

I usually keep my head shaved, but from time to time I let my hair grow out (as I now am). I constantly twist, twirl, and scratch at it. I've even developed various methods for manipulating it in certain ways to achieve certain sensations. I am addicted to the way it feels and sounds. It's hard to explain and I don't know why I do it.

Under Cover Agent? Just a guess.

I think they'd have more informative things to ask us than what our odd habits are - not going to get much info from the fact that someone doesn't like chocolate and someone likes the sounds their hair makes when they twist it

I like to read comics.
I like games like Dungeons And Dragons.
I like to draw starships and superhero characters.
I watch porn on the odd occasion.
I like science fiction.
I like all kinds of music.


In fact, I used to read comics when they were very unpopular. I remember being insulted by people because I liked to read them.

I also don't like my food to touch... I especially hate it when people pour ketchup on top of their fries. For some reason I can't/won't eat them like that. I like to dip them myself. I have various other oddities but just to share one I haven't read so far is that the volume on electronics have to be on an even number, especially on the tv and my car stereo. I haven't always had that one and I can't remember exactly when it started or why, but for some reason I feel uncomfortable if the volume is not set to an even number.

I don't like when other people open things, like bread, drinks, chips whatever. I have to open it.

If some one else does I just get turned off and don't want to eat whatever it is.

Also washing clothes, I have to wash clothes twice. (terrible) this is an improvement though, over a year ago it was worse and I would wash them some times 4 times before being convinced they are clean.

I can't stand it when my hands feel dry. I always have to carry lotion in my purse, for when I wash my hands in a public restroom. My husband always laughs at me when I come walking out of the restroom, frantically searching in my purse for my lotion. If my hands are feeling dry, I can't touch anyone else's skin. So, if my husband reaches for my hand - I jerk it away -- just can't do it, at least until I put some lotion on. He thinks that's weird.

I like to put mild salsa on my sandwiches.
