Okay, this is going to be a minimal post, so I apologize in advance.

So, I was browsing an image board the other day when I came across this image:

Okay, so right of the bat there it is obvious that this is some sort of Masonic lodge. I have seen photos of Masonic lodges and I have even been inside a few, but none have looked like this. This looks like a makeshift lodge or something. Also, I have never known Masons to wear hooded garbs such as the ones seen in this photo.

I conducted a reverse image search on this photo and came up with one hit only.

My question is: does anyone know where this photo could have originated?
Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Skulls and Bones society, perhaps? See the skull and the bones in the fences. These society are all over universities in the USA and Bush went to one.

Good find. That mask is definitely creepy with those cartoon type eyes. Hopefully someone can fill us in on what the heck that is and if they can even see through those things.

It looks very European to me. I'm guessing its a Masonic group from Europe ?? Possibly Spain is my first guess.

In the center is Bush, on the right is Obama, and on the left is Cheney.

Well, the thing that throws me off here is that the the only site that contains this photo is written in Spanish. I was under the impression that the Skull and Bones Fraternity was exclusive to Yale University.

I really do not know what to make of this. I do see a blend of elements from different societies. I see the Masonic Compass and Square along with the "G", I also see the All Seeing Eye along with the Skull and Bones jolly roger.

I just have to know where this picture was taken, who these men are, what they are doing, and why they are wearing those garbs.

I know very little about Masonic rites etc but there seems to be an over abundance of Masonic icons and pictures etc......and the eyeholes in the masks seem quite false somehow.

Both disturbing and odd.

Could it have been stage managed or something?
Too what purpose though I have no idea.

I was thinking the same thing. The total symbol overkill is almost silly. The distance between the rail and the figures behind it in the display is also very short, like it's nothing more than a big display. It almost makes me think of the haunted house type set-ups where they go overboard for a message. Anti-Mason would be my guess for what that is trying for........ Hmm..

Yup, the room is spanish, all right. You see the word ''ESPERANZA'' in a pyramid a extreme right. That means ''hope''.
SO, the room was located in spanish-speaking country.
Strange, I really thought it would be a Skull& Bones thing.

The building looks old, notice the ceiling.
The mask show white dots instead of eyes.
I think it all has something to do with the
red and black box sitting on the pedestal.
Very interesting photograph.

That's the box from Dune that produces pain - someone stands behind you with a Gom Jabbar at your neck.

Pull your hand out, you die!

Great initiation tool!

I did an image-reverse-scan and found "Respetable Logia Simbólica Centauro No. 9-96" I don't speak spanish or what this language is. Hope someone with more lingual capabilites than me can contribute?

Besides ATS the image is hosted here centauro996.wordpress.com...

It's surely masonic, but some ornaments have kind of an oriental touch, and the "person" reminds me of a burkha but thats just my opinion.

The term "Esperanza" on the right could indicate that it is the Esperanza Lodge in Fullerton, CA. There is also on the left a sign that says "FE" that is the symbol for Iron but I'm not sure how that ties in yet. I will continue to evaluate.

Good catch....does seem to be entirely Latin based!

Odd photo for certain...wonder if this is a movie set or something?
