I would rather have a real artist/writer like Neill Blomkamp come up with the story for the sequel to District 9 than have Sony Pictures outsourcing
and data mining ATS for ideas.
I hated District 9! I know, I know, some people loved the symbolism on how bad we treated the aliens. I remember reading the reviews on people who
saw the movie and it broke down right down the middle. You either liked it or you hated it. There was very few in between.
I immediately hated the video shaking and made me want to get up and leave. I'm not an extreme science fiction movie lover. Don't get me wrong, I
like fiction, but I enjoy movies that are based upon possible truths like Angels and Demons, Fire in the Sky, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The
Sixth Sense, etc....
I went to go see battle of LA and I was disappointed. I was expecting it to be based upon the actual UFO incident. My son loved it, but to me it was
all just action packed made-up science fiction.
