Is this the best they got, "Romney is not cool?" I would rather have a practical President than a "cool" one. Cool people are usually douchebags....

Henderson gushed, "I think this cool factor, the kids would call it having swagger, is important to these young folks."

I know that's what I look for in a president. There's nothing better than some good swagger. Forget knowledge of economics, constitutional law, rules of war, civil liberties and freedom. Give me some cool swagger and you've won me!

Actual article which 'newsbusters' fails to even link to:

www.washingtonpost.com...

The content of the pundits statement was clearly not that that makes Obama somehow a better POTUS. He was merely pointing out that Obama's obvious charisma is something they will use against Romney and his LACK of charisma.

The rest of his statement: "I don't mean it to say pejoratively that Mitt Romney isn't cool. Barack Obama is, but they are going to try and use that against him."

Its analysis, people. Thats all. He's not endorsing Obama. He's pointing out the difference in approach in the campaigns, FFS.

The only reason he got elected was because the TV portayed him as "cool".

Remember his campaign ads?
Some featured celebrities, as if he was a celebrity of sort.
Giving him more appeal to the youth, because apparently they had no idea who he was.
His campaign seducted millions of victims and big-time television names alike.
Oprah was practically gonna marry the guy.

The people who run these campaigns are not stupid.
They know who to appeal to and why.

Besides, the only guy I respect enough to consider "cool" is the best candidate for job.
But apparently he isn't "cool" enough for the mindless drones to see.
But he knows whats right for the people.
He is known by the lobbyists as "not able to be bought".
He has THE best track record of all congress.

Yet some folks don't even think he is the right man for the job.
I have to question those people about their knowledge of what is right.
Apparently they only want what is "cool".

To them, Dr. Paul isn't "cool".

Shame on them.

To be clear, you all get this wasn't an official white house press release, right?

It was a pundit's point.

Recall, if you will, that Bush's popularity was based a lot on his 'coolness' compared to the nerdy, 'wonky' Al Gore.

Gore was socially awkward, Bush was Palsy and cool. The press described him as the type of guy you could 'have a beer with'.

Prior to that, it was Clinton who was the 'cool' one to Bush's nerdy bureaucrat persona.

Prior to that, it was Reagan in 1980 was got to appear MUCH cooler with his cowboy bravado and good looks than Jimmy Carter's nerdyness.

Oh, and JFK definitely beat Nixon for the same reasons.

This is nothing new. It is not unique to the present campaign, nor to one party.

And this 'article' is nothing more than trolling
