This was a nonprofit too.
Of course where I live our nonprofit hospital CEO makes millions for salary.

I just find it shameful that someone that was so sick they were in ER or the hospital should have this sort of pressure and stress put on them at that time. It could make all the difference in outcome and kill someone.

I'm not real experienced or particularly good at starting threads, so if this is in the wrong place or something, please feel free to move it.

It just struck me, as I am a nurse, as outrageous.

if that happens to me I would SUE them. There is a law which requires hospitals to give emergency care regardless race, religion, sex, financial status, ECT..ect.. Somewhere in this law they the greedy collectors and hospital must be breaking or chipping this law. This is private and public hospitals.
