I've been following this thread since it started and firstly wanted to thank you all for a fun and interesting (and civil) read.
I've finally decided to share my little event with the GR app (belatedly).
Before I tell you my experience though, I think I need put it in context so you can see why it freaked me out a little. I have been following the
events at Fukushima, Japan since it happened. Last month (it was around the 11th or 12th of April?) I read something that made me sit up and take
notice. I guess you could say it was a kind of prediction tying in a catastrophe with Fukushima R4 to around the time of the London Olympics, 2012 in
some form or other.
I'm not really sure why this particular notion jumped out at me so strongly and I won't go into it too much more, but I will say that it has been on
my mind pretty strongly since then.
Now on to my GR experience. About half way through reading this thread (around the end of April?) I decided to download the free version for myself
and give it a whirl. (I'm on an iphone.)
The first couple of times I used it I just got random words that meant nothing. However on about the third or fourth session I got a lot, LOT, of
activity on the radar and I got - in quick succession - this:
This happened to me on the 1st May (Aussie time). I know it is probably total coincidence and the skeptic in me says that, ahh no - my phone can't
read my mind
however it did spook me a bit.
I shared this happening with only one other person at the time and wasn't going to add it to the thread here, but after seeing that you guys thought
to use the app as a prediction device I thought you all might find this interesting. I'm still skeptical, but ... I dunno. Can't shake a strange
Couple of things - A) it was the free version so unfortunately I had to write the words down and have no log evidence, I'm sorry
(though I do have
B) Pretty soon after that I deleted the app after reading Pigraphia's findings about the intrusive permissions. If I could be assured of no app-prying
I'd be certainly willing to give it another try.
C) I don't have anything in my mail folders on the phone that could tie into those words, and whilst I do occasionally look at ATS from my phone (not
logged in), I haven't done so for quite some time (although it is
possible that I looked at a Fukushima thread, I just can't remember doing so
recently from the phone.)
Anyway - there you have it. Hopefully just another random coincidence from a toy app that is designed for entertainment purposes only. I don't even
want to think of the alternative.
Sorry to derail your earthquake watch. I look forward to your further postings.
