...and the only place we will hear this CIA office speak is on You Tube. Neocon's will explain this guy's comments as being to simple and the situation in the middle east is more complex.

Countries should be defending themselves instead of relying on help from the U.S.. These disputes all stem from our support for Israel and our occupying of land. The tensions on the North Korea border is also caused by us stationing troops along side South Korea.

The United States was all up in arms when the Soviet Union stationed missiles in Cuba. Yet we expect other countries to look the other way when we have troops stationed and missile defense systems placed outside their borders.

I give this guy credit for having enough guts to come out and say how things really are. However, trying to sway the gullible voting public is another story.

I agree that we have to stop being the world police but if we pull out of everywhere we have troops alot of people could be killed not to mention the job loss our troops would face

What people will be killed? If we pulled our troops off the border of North Korea, tensions between the two countries could be reduced dramatically. On the other side of the coin, if North Korea would decide to attack South Korea, the amount of technically advanced military armaments that we have sold to South Korea would be no match for North Korea.

Israel has one of the strongest military and technically advanced armies in the region, plus they have nukes. I'm sure they could defend themselves, they have been for decades.

As for Afghanistan and Iraq, those countries have had internal fighting for over a century. What makes you think were preventing any innocent lives from being killed. Maybe countries need to settle their own internal problems themselves instead of relying on countries that don't share the same kind of culture and devotion to a radical religion. No country has ever been tamed by occupying forces.

Governments or religious leaders who cause conflict within their own country, must be overthrown by their own people. All countries have diverse cultures and customs. To have a country involve themselves with internal strife, is like having someone who lives in an upscale neighborhood try to settle disputes in a poverty stricken area controlled by gangs and crime on a daily basis. Neither can relate to the circumstances that they face everyday in their social surroundings.

He's not going to get the Republican nomination, I agree with you. But if he did have a large party backing, he would win the presidency in a landslide! He might get a decent percentage of votes as a write-in!

And, he will not be going senile. He is the healthiest person on the presidential stage! He challenged them all to a 20 mile bike race in the Texas heat, and they all declined and said there is no question who would win that race. Ron Paul's age is not a factor whatsoever, except in one case...... assassination. IF he were elected, he better have someone just like him as the V.P., because he is ripe for a faked heart attack. We would all know better, but it wouldn't matter much would it.

It is a grueling job. Even young men like Clinton feel the effects of it and put on a lot of age while in office. 8 years looks more like 25 on them!

Actually, we pulled the troops off the border of Korea along time ago, most of the US Forces stationed in Korea are now well SOUTH of Souel, and are not on the border. In fact, only one combat brigade and one fighter wing is actually stationed in theater now, the rest are pretty much support troops.

So now the CIA is trusted when it says something you folks like?

Gimme a break.

If the CIA (or anyone formerly affiliated) is touting a particular candidate, then there is a plan that utilizes him/her. Paul = safety? Pure insanity.
