I debated to put this into the Science thread, but chose this one instead. If anyone has been keeping a finger on the Transhumanist movement, it's real and the people behind it are very ambitious. I've come across plenty of people who actually want to wake up in a computer one day, and evolve past the current state of humanity. But for me I see it as another thread in the construction of a New World Order. Here are some quotes from the conference held in Moscow in February. It's called the Global Future 2045 Congress.

Here are the objectives as described by their own website:

“ - Presenting the newest developments in the fields of cognitive sciences, robotics, and modeling of living systems
- Evaluating the potential for transforming planetary civilization in light of the rapid pace of technological development
- Analyzing possible scenarios for the development of civilization in the context of new concepts regarding universal history, or “Big History”
- Discussing strategic problems arising in a dynamically changing world and the potential for the appearance of a global or cosmic mode of thinking.

Event speakers were comprised of world leading physicists, biologists, anthropologists, sociologists, psychologists, philosophers as well as specialists in the fields of Big History, robotics, brain-computer interfaces, neurosciences and space technology from Russia, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and other countries.”

www.gf2045.com...

The reason why it's 2045 is because these scientists and technicians want to attain human immortality by the year 2045. How are they going to do this? Let's check it out.

According to Anders Sandburg (Researcher, science debater, futurist, transhumanist, and author):

"At first, there may be implants, but in the longer run by transferring our consciousness to machines, if that is technically possible, and I do think this is a very important developments that are going to affect our economy, our society and our view of the world over this century.”
gf2045.com...

But what do these thoughts have anything to do with the New World Order? Well check out some of these other quotes that discuss globalization etc. The whole point is that the idea of a One World Government and all that entails it is no longer simply a political agenda, but it's part of the plan of the most ambitious people in the field of science.

According to Nick Bostrom, PhD, Professor of Oxford University, co-founder (with David Pearce) of the World Transhumanist Association:

“Now, one concept that is useful I think in thinking about long-term futures for humanities the notion of the single tongue, which should be a world order, where at the highest level of organization there is only one decision-making entity. Now, that decision-making entity could be any of a wide range of certain structures: it could be the world democratic government, it could be a dictator, it could be a super-intelligent machine, it could be some, perhaps, even a universal moral code that had provisions for its law-enforcement, but both good and bad structures could count as a single tongue. But the unifying feature would be that they all have the ability to solve global coordination problems, for example, to avoid arms races or to solve these global common problems, like, when we have different countries spearing out pollutants into the atmosphere or over-fishing the oceans, – now all these kinds of coordination problems that arise from the lack of a single decision-making entity on the top.”

Now the premise is that these things will be for the name of world peace. But if anyone understands prophetic scriptures, most of the enslavement is happening, and ultimately going to happen under the guise of peace. It's only when world peace is attained that the world is most vulnerable for total enslavement and lock down.

Another speaker Alexander Panov, Astrophysicist, author of "Snooks-Panov curve" which describes the singularity said this:

“As a scientist, an astrophysicist, I am worried primarily about the future of science. This is what we can say about the future of science in the post-singular stage. Firstly, we can make a few general philosophical propositions. Any progressive phenomenon in evolution cannot be progressive forever, as leaders in evolution replace each other. In this sense, science is a typical progressive phenomenon, it arose in response to certain crises, and served to overcome them. So science in this quality, as the basis of the formation of the vector of the development of human civilization, cannot be a leader forever. From this, it follows that a change in leadership will take place, and another leader must come to replace science, a leader about which we do not yet know anything about.
gf2045.com...

It's interesting that they talk of a leader who they don't yet know anything about. Does this not echo the prophetic propositions of an antichrist? If you're not a Christian or a believer of prophecies, this serves as just food for thought, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Barry Rodrigue, Professor at the University of Southern Maine, co-chairman of GF2045: “Manifesto for a New Millennium. A Working Agenda for the Anthropocene” said:

There needs to be global mechanisms for review and regulation...We have had many brilliant ideas and innovations presented at the Moscow Congress of Global Futures 2045. These innovations are very exciting and very important, but the BIG QUESTION is how do we link them, how do we promote them, how do we popularize them – in such a fashion that we create a new world consciousness, a new world civilization – in what my friend, David Hookes, calls “Global Enlightenment".

Again, if words have any meaning to them, then it should be alarming that the language used here echoes that of a New World Order. It's also interesting that the language of "Global Enlightenment" is something that the new age movement holds as a very near future event.

I understand that these are snippets of the actual entirety of the conference, but they brought up huge red flags for me when I was looking through all the things that happened at the conference.

I hope this serves as food for thought. What does ATS think?

P.S. I discuss these and a few more quotes on my podcast canarycryradio.com...

Nice find, Sun!

The people you quoted are overyly educated idiots

According to Scripture, the New World Order or one world government is inevitable. Not much we can do about that..

The idea of transferring consciousness into machines is rediculous. I'm sure the ones contemplating this do not believe people have souls, so they believe all there is to transfer are memories. But, people do have souls and when the silver cord is cut, the soul goes where souls go after death. To think that one can kill a body and preserve whatever makes a person unique is arrogant to say the least.

It would seem we truly are living in a God-less society! It is about time for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to return and smack these guys up side the head.

Yes. Without a view that the human being has a soul, it's entirely appropriate that they seek eternal life in this physical reality. I just think it's a dangerous game to be playing. Not to mention the NWO want to have a Technate society with a ruling class of techno-elites and an underclass of "normal" humans. We live in a strange time for sure.

Transhumanists - what can you say about people who want to act like God or become one in their own mind? The problems lying ahead are those of scientific advances and economics. We can grow new organs, clone bodies, add cybernetic appendages, give sight to the blind and maybe even download our consciousness into a computer.
Where will it end? Who will reap the benefits and how will these advances be distributed fairly so that all can enjoy the benefits? Given the uneven distribution of wealth today this last question is already answered - we won't reap any advantages.

Those already in power will live longer, healthier lives, while those who perform critical duties for them (scientists, super-soldiers, etc) will be enhanced for their functions. Deadlier, faster, more able to gather information through enhanced sensory capabilities - the list goes on and on.
The need for certain rare elements and physical resources to maintain their level of technology and Africa is big on the list to come under their control. This is the western banking elite and their minions vs the rest of the world; communist, tribal, Asian, African and their egocentric eugenic program to modify society and the world to their needs and wants.

We live in an interesting time where the singularity is considered the inevitable and man will be the architect of his own evolutionary development by integrating our physical bodies with machines and digital technologies to end our physical and spiritual limitations.
I think we are heading for the greatest mistake mankind could ever possibly make.

Respectfully, my friend, and at the risk of coming off as defending "transhumanism", or worse some elitist new world order, you've touched upon many ideas that I just cannot agree with, no matter how entrenched these memes may be within our culture.

What can I say about people who want to act like God, or become one in their own mind? I would say this is the crux of the Origin story in Genesis. Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in order to know what God knows. This "curse" has become ours ever since. Adam and Eve's mythology has similarities to Prometheus and Pandora's mythology, and just the same as Adam and Eve, there are those priest class shamans who've attempted to convince us that Prometheus the bringer of fire and knowledge was a curse brought upon humanity as was Pandora's opening of the box. However, where the priest class sect of Old Testament interpretations almost universally view the "Fall from Grace" mythology as a cautionary tale of disobeying God and the wrath such disobedience brings, Prometheus is not so universally reviled and some see his actions as the gift they were clearly intended to be.

I submit to you, here and now, that Adam and Eve actions were not a plague upon humanity, but the journey we all must face. Adam and Eve were given a choice, they could have stayed blissfully ignorant in the Garden of Eden, or they could know both good and evil, just as God does. Adam and Eve, mythologically speaking, were hero's who dared to embrace knowledge, and their journey (our journey) has been to align the knowledge we have of good with our knowledge of evil and to somehow master this, as God has, and once we do, this will mark our journey "home".

This is just my interpretation, but it is a radically different interpretation than the cautionary tale that insists that "knowing" is a bad thing.

Further, lamenting who might share the benefits of technological advancement tends to ignore that there are billions of people on the planet today who share in the benefits of technological advancement. I tend to believe that there are enough resources on this planet to make each and everyone of us a millionaire a billion times over, so when it is wondered how all can share in this advancement or prosperity, I don't think we are on the right track if we criticize technological advance simply because "all" have not benefited from it, and if "all" are going to ever achieve this level of prosperity that "all" deserve, that answer lies within each and every individual within the "all", more so than it does with some sort of distribution system.

Again, this is not to defend some elitist global agenda, but rather to speak to a few points you've made that, in my not so humble opinion, are memes probably created by elitists. The elitist power grabber has far more to benefit by demonizing Adam and Eve than by extolling their heroism. Instilling a fear of God is far more beneficial to the power grabbers than is advocating a genuine connection with God.

It's only when world peace is attained that the world is most vulnerable for total enslavement and lock down.

So, now we should fear people who are actively working for peace? We should embrace war - because war will set us free? Peace is going to be the thing that does us all in?

Certain things are starting to makes sense to me now - but they're not the things you want me to see

I'm not religious - but you've done a good job of making this conversation interesting for everybody - no matter what they believe. I know plenty of people are worried about the future - the future looks strange and scary

I get how weird this is - it's weird because it's new. But - I still think kidney transplants are weird. You'd better believe I'd want one if I needed one

We've landed on the moon (depending on who you want to believe) :-) And Mars...we have gizmos out in space taking pictures of the universe. We have people going the complete opposite direction and looking in - then further in - and then further in...

We talk to each other from places all over the globe - day and night - by satellite

At one time we didn't even have fire

How ’ya gonna keep ’em down on the farm,
After they’ve seen Paree?
www.usgennet.org...

this was the first thing that popped into my head when I read your OP :-)

it's too late - we're not going to stay put. It's not our nature. But, I think we'll be OK - no matter how creepy it all sounds now

And anyway, I have to ask - because I've always wondered. If you're going by the scriptures - why should any of this even concern you? Isn't it a done deal?

You bring up some great points. It's something I need to clarify often. I am not against peace. But I am saying that the deception runs deep. A perfect example is the UN. They run around third world countries with a plan to bring peace and betterment for the country and end up sucking their resources dry falling into the hands of the world banks. Bill Gates runs around with vaccines that are suppose to help people while killing them. The war on terror, the war on drugs, etc are all part of the "great plan to bring peace, security, and freedom to the world." But is it? Not at all.

So no, Just because I am saying "be careful of those who preach global peace" doesn't automatically mean I am for wars and killing everyone. In fact, I am highly critical of the institution of Christianity that goes around talking about doing the work for social justice. They do wonderful work and I'm not neglecting that. But I think too many of these institutions compromise the faith, but that's a whole different discussion.

As for technological progress, yes ts a good thing. I'm on my iPhone right now to type this up. But I also understand that the transhumanism agenda is different in that instead of exploring and changing the external world, we are going internal, messing with the very thing that makes us, us. Now its obviously not bad to create technology that helps the deaf, blind, etc. these are a no brainer. The real questions are in the realm of human enhancement. Who gets to have them? What are the effects economically, socially, existentially etc? What about law? Do the same legal ramifications exist with half man half ape hybrids who might kill someone? So the bottom line is, there is a lot that needs to be sorted out before pursuing these advances, and unfortunately, the discussions are not really happening. The global elite want it, and the scientists and technologIsts see it as progress. I think know it might have some consequences, but I don't think anyone realizes how devastating they might be.

You bring up some great points too. I'm not going to argue with you about deception - corruption...it's everywhere. But life is just as much about unintended consequences as it is about conspiracy and master plans. If we're always looking for signs of the plan that will bring about our ruin - we'll always find it. It's how we are. Doesn't mean it's really there - or, let' say - always there. But - if we react to it as if it's real - we undo good work and punish people who don't deserve to be punished

I realize that's a foolish thing to suggest on a conspiracy site :-)

So no, Just because I am saying "be careful of those who preach global peace" doesn't automatically mean I am for wars and killing everyone.

No - of course you're not. And war is going to be with us for some time to come regardless. But there's another kind of war going on - and it's ideological. Everyone paints the other side as a villain - each group claiming they want what's best for everyone while shouting as loudly as they can that the other side has some kind of master plan that will bring most of humanity to it's knees...subjugated, castrated - powerless, enslaved and tortured...who wouldn't want to prevent that?

:-) I would - for sure. And so it goes - everyone fighting for good against what looks like an obvious evil

No winners - we're all afraid to take a chance that there is no master plan. Too afraid and confused to recognize one if it actually existed

As for technological progress, yes ts a good thing. I'm on my iPhone right now to type this up. But I also understand that the transhumanism agenda is different in that instead of exploring and changing the external world, we are going internal, messing with the very thing that makes us, us.

There's a war being declared on science right now. Transhumanism is going to be a battle ground. When you claim it has an agenda - you contribute to the fear. We will always be us - and nothing we come up with is ever going to change that. The us you're trying to protect is made up of men and women that are thinkers, inventors, explorers...mankind is going to keep tinkering, wandering and discovering

I hope you realize that all the characters involved are never going to be in agreement about what's good - and what's bad. They never have been. We have to live our lives in the now in some ways - day to day, then tackle what's wrong as it occurs. There is no safe, sane logical way to head 'evil' off at the pass

Anyway, it's not going to happen overnight. We will absorb each new thing as it happens - we'll discuss it, fight about it - legalize it, criminalize it - undo all of that over and over again - it's already been happening for some time now

Fearing science - and fearing change won't prevent bad things from happening - but it might prevent some very good things

you want a simplistic example? I'll bet you don't, but here... :-)

There are also synthetic corneas (keratoprostheses) in development. Most are merely plastic inserts, but there are also those composed of biocompatible synthetic materials that encourage tissue ingrowth into the synthetic cornea, thereby promoting biointegration. Other methods, such as magnetic deformable membranes and optically coherent transcranial magnetic stimulation of the human retina are still in very early stages of research.
en.wikipedia.org...

So, suppose some of the most outrageous ideas actually become possible. We already do some pretty outrageous things to the human body in order to save or improve lives - we don't give them a second thought now. Where and when do we say stop?

We'll have to figure that out together as a group - and it's going to take time
