Kerry claims that he will be able to bring in France and Germany to the coalition, but guess what, Both countries don't want any part of it. I quess he can't do what he claims and now he has insulted our coalition partners. What a loser, it's no wonder people are starting to see the light and vote for Bush.

-----

French and German government officials say they will not significantly increase military assistance in Iraq even if John Kerry, the Democratic presidential challenger, is elected on November 2.

Mr Kerry, who has attacked President George W. Bush for failing to broaden the US-led alliance in Iraq, has pledged to improve relations with European allies and increase international military assistance in Iraq.

"I cannot imagine that there will be any change in our decision not to send troops, whoever becomes president," Gert Weisskirchen, member of parliament and foreign policy expert for Germany's ruling Social Democratic Party, said in an interview.

France and Germany blew Kerry's 'foreign policy' right out
of the water. Kerry continues to spew forth that he'd bring
others into Iraq so our troops could come home. But he can't
do it. If even Kerry's socialist buddies in France won't go along
with him in international matters, then Kerry is the one living
in a fantasy world.

All politicians are liars, and I am so tired of people insinuating that the person they are voting for is a saint. Oh, read this. Yea, bush and Cheney are perect. NOT!

Oh, I don't know about that. Check out the thread
that tells ya' about what John Kerry did when he was
LT. GOV of Mass. He authored an executive order that
Dukakis signed stating that in case of nuclear attack,
Mass. wouldn't respond. YIKES!

I hate some of the things G.W. does, but by golly
he won't demand that we be 'sensitive' to the terrorists
and just roll over and die like Kerry wants us to do.

(I agree with ya' on the part that all politicians are
liars)

I can't possibly think of a single politican in the United States more loathed and despised by the Euroreans (not that it really matters) than G.W. Bush.

He is a robot and a bungler. At least if Kerry is in office we can at least try to get the Europeans to start shouldering their fare share of the load (alot of which they are directly responsible for).

With 4 more years of Bush, we are guarenteed to go it alone. Beside, with him in office, maybe we can piss off the Russians and the Japanese next term? Yay! American-haters on all sides!

It cracks me up that Bush trumpets "foreign policy" as his strong suit, when his administration has been the biggest foreign policy disaster in recent memory. The people of at State are praying for his departure (a few of them tell me regularly).............

That's the point of this thread (I think). That Old Europe won't support
Kerry either. Germany and France are doing their own thing and
refuse to send troops ... no matter who is in. That sinks Kerry's
foreign policy of bringing in Old Europe.

'American haters on all sides'. They'll hate us no matter what. It's
the 'in' thing to do. It's in vogue. It's easier to hate us and blame us
than to look at their own miserable exhistance and see their own
problems and to try to fix the problems themselves.

I do agree with you guys who say politicians are liars, they will do anything and say anything to get what they want.

Well, I can see where that might influence some peoples decision on voting, but what could Mass. really do i there were a neuclear strike? Im pretty sure that if there was`a strike, Mass. would still run ambulances, Hospitals, police, ire departments, and all other public servants as well. If any response was necessary, it would come straight from the gov.

I also dont think that JK would "roll over" and take any crap from the terrorist. I think you misunderstand his position. I cannot believe that ANY american elected to office is going to sit there and let Terrorism run rampant in todays society.

I believe that Kerry will not be able to bring Frances and Germany into Iraq, and I dont blame then, Iraq is such a mess (and that is a fact) right now thanks to US (and that is a fact)

And remember other (coalitions) forces has withdrawn from Iraq also, are we going to call them bad names like we do to Germany and Frances, it seems that other countries has seen what the so call (liberation) has done in Iraq and rather than losing their heads they rather stay away, regardless what US call them.

Romania's President Ion Iliescu called the policy of the coalition forces in Iraq a failure, but warned against a pullout and this was back in April even then this American ally knew the fiasco of the invasion.

Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, UK, Ukraine

These are the countries helping US in Iraq. Now how many countries has pull out because the increase hostilities kidnappings and beheadings in Iraq?

Michel Barnier, the French foreign minister, said last week that France, which has tense relations with interim prime minister Iyad Allawi, had no plans to send troops "either now or later".

Now can you blame the prime minister of France for disliking the PM poppet government in Iraq, no body can denied the shady way in wish he became PM.

TextThere is no sign that the German public, which loathes the US president, would accept risking German lives to salvage what is widely seen as Mr Bush's botched war.

Sorry to said but if Kerry becomes president he will have to deal with the growing resentment of other countries that do not agree with bush invasion of Iraq.

Now should US retaliate and Invade other countries that did not agree with the invasion of Iraq.?

Now at least these two countries are going to reduced the debt of Iraq. So they just dont want their troops to lose some heads over bush fiasco war.

So blaming Kerry for trying to get the help of these two countries, that the bush administration with his hasty war got against US, now that Iraq is a mess and Germany and France knows that and making kerry look like he can not deliver in his promised or I may say at least trying it is unjust.

Kerry IS making promises that he already knows he can't keep.
Everyone knows that Germany and France will not send troops
even if Kerry is elected. So why is Kerry still promising that they
will send troops, when he knows they won't?

It's just telling the people what they want to hear so he can get
a vote. Typical politician lie ... except most politicians are better
at telling lies, Kerry doesn't even lie well.

Did anyone really even expect Germany or France to embrace Kerrys remarks? To do so would smack of trying to influence the American election, something I think neither country wants to get into.

At this point I wouldnt take anything that is said by these two too seriously. We know that they wont co-operate with Bush. If Kerry gets elected, wait until the middle of November, then see what is said.

If Kerry is serious about bringing other countries in, he will have to divvy up some of the reconstruction contracts. Germany, and especially France will do anything for a buck.
