Will this all end if I put my head in the sand? Preachers are notorious for "saving" people when they are at their darkest moments. Will they take advantage of the state of the nation?

sigh Whats this hatred for Israel on ATS as of late? So what if Ron Paul said that Jerusalem is Israel's?

How is that hate for Israel? Second, Jerusalem doesn't belong to them entirely, which is why that's a valid point to bring up, one of the few negative things about Paul in my opinion.

Yet he's also the first to suggest re-evaluating foreign aid, which would also be related to Israel.

Is that hate for Israel too? honestly friend, you can find tons of antisemitic threads here, this isn't one of them. The more you guys cry fowl each and everytime ISrael is mentioned, regardless of if it's positive or negative, just makes you look silly.

Obama is no better or worse than Bush.

Bush created the policies (hard)
Obama continued and expanded them (easy)

I meant, come on, did you expect Obama to actually reverse that stuff? Hell no, no support for it, he did what he needed to stay in power with his pathetic approval ratings. He pandered to "them". It's easier to expand on a policy than it is to start it, or end it.

And when you think about wars and the intelligence apparatus, he'd be insane to try to reverse all of that, way too much money wasted.

Why you guys keep falling for this divide and conquer BS is beyond me. Hell, look at Neo up there slandering and generalizing anyone who doesn't agree with him as "liberal" in the most spiteful meaning of the word possible.

You guys are actually falling for it... AGAIN.

U.S. Government is Lying! Has Copies of Most of Your Emails

I keep reading this kind of stuff and it just makes me think that most people don't have a clue about how much information that is. I save most of my work emails and my Outlook pst file is 4 gig just for the last few years. There are thousands if not tens of thousands of emails in it. And that's just a fraction of my total email history when you factor in my work and home accounts over the years. If the government were saving all this crap they would be faced with a monumental organizing task. It would take an almost inconceivable amount of computing storage space just to house it all, and it would be an even bigger task to track any information in it on a person-by-person basis. If such a thing were actually going on we'd know about it because it would require an enormous bureaucratic department with a bloated budget that would rank right up there with Social Security or the military. The notion that the government is keeping all our emails is frankly absurd.

pshhh....

You are out of touch with reality.

There is nothing that Ron Paul couldn't have done in Congress that he can suddenly do if he is President. We have 3 branches of government, not a dictatorship. You are either terribly ignorant or a terrible liar.

As he says surveillance has become more expansive under President Obama than during Bush
So PLEASEEEEEEEEEE

Stop saying this is Bush's war and that Bush is a war criminal
Obama is expanding the war, he's a bigger bush than Bush

Just like war, same with domestic big brother surveillance
It's not Bush's surveillance anymore either, it's Obama's even bigger surveillance

Say Mitt Romney wins. How will this change? Most information tells us that this has been a continuous developement.

Still you guys ALWAYS sat America has the greatest democracy in the world.

The only change by electing a new president is the illusion of difference. Most of these cases Obama is not even a part of. Its becayse of the plausible denial by not knowing of it directly.

Still we use Facebook, Google and Visa.

Ive checked out this website since 2007 and this type of information comes up again and again. In 2004 i remember it started with a law that had to do with pedophiles. Today its everyone.

Are americans blissfully unaware that they are that frog in the cold water thats been slowly getting warmer. So when the bubbles begin you wont have time to react to the certain demise.

Sad really. You should get inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt. The guy that din´t just sit once, twice or thrice, but FOUR terms.

The most important knowlege today is that we let ourselfes loose by not doing anything that means saying the unpopular when its needed.

I hope and wish that this messy ultra controlled state u are in soon gets a overhauil. No other coutnry use that much money on being "safe".
The military budget is larger than the budgets to the next four countries.

At one point I was pointing out the hypocracy of both the republicans and democrats specifically when comparing both the Obama and Bush presidencies. Problem is that sooner or later it really doesn't matter. What does matter is making others realize that BOTH parties are in bed with special interests, are controlled and have aren't working for the best intentions for the people.

It is an extension of our society and our system of economics. We need to convert from a monetary based economy into a resource based economy. Until that happens there will always be war, torture, injustice, crime, increasing police state tactics, eco-cide, propaganda, censorship, useless laws, taxes and slavery by the ruling classes.

Doesn't matter what party or what candidate gets voted in. I like Ron Paul but lets get real here, in the far off chance that he gets elected (which they'll do everything to prevent) he will either get assassinated or gridlocked by congress and the supreme court while demonzied by the MSM.

You cannot make any real change within the matrix, real change comes outside of matrix rules. Evolution of society (and ideas) is needed not revolution. Only the people themselves active and participatory can achieve this, and the only way that happens is if they choose to educate themselves and disconnect from the matrix. The tools are now available to do that for the first time in history. No more is it just the affluent, but all classes through the internet and other media can they get closer to the truth and empower themselves if they choose to. Just like Einstein said, "Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them".

When will the Americans realize there elections are fraud, the president is a puppet and is not the one creating all the bad things in America and other countries... You cant see the puppateer when your too occupied watching the show. The one who pulls the strings is the one who elects their next president... Government is a mask for the elites, they control government like a chess game... and America, your on your last pawn, 1 King.

You need to rise up

You do realize the major loss of civil liberties took place under the Bush administration, right? So yes, we'll continue blaming him because he was in fact a criminal Fascist.

Obama isn't innocent either but I still rather vote for him over Romney or Gingrich.

Get used to it... this is what happens under a two party system. What do you think is going to happen when selecting the lesser of two evils? You get what you ask for... EVIL

(Ex: You have the choice of receiving death from dismemberment or disembowelment.... Which would you choose? Do you expect to survive one over the other or think that one will be less painful? Me, I would not even have put myself in that position in the first place.... and if I had no choice, I'd select the 3rd option and bite my tongue off and create suction to bleed out… just to spoil “their” fun)

"The People" don't even select the President anyway. The Electoral College does, The United States is a Capitalistic Representative Democracy. (Which to me equals "corporate sponsored selection"... because it’s easier to bribe a handful of delegates then the entire American populous).

Ahhhh I love Monday rambles, lets me get over the initial shock of having to go back to the rat race after the weekend

Bush= Obama...nothing to figure out there. Since Kennedy...the same group of people are taking over the US.
Kennedy knew this and WARNED us. In a speech he warned of the military industrial complex and said it by name.

To say that Bush and Obama are two separate entities and that Obama is more out of control is just not true.
Its the proverbial snowball...the crooks that have taken over the white house are going threw w/ their Agenda and that cost money and time.

General Clark is on record stating his superior showed him a Doc from Bush and his cabinet outlining 5 Middle Eastern Countries they planned on invading. Guess which 5? lol They were not going to get that done in 12 yrs.

I knew the day that Obama was sworn in and I seen him and Bush walking down the sidewalk...I knew infatically that the American public hadn't elected thier savior....they elected the same evil men that took over a long time ago.

Look at the Bielderburg list of names....Clinton's, Bush regime, Kerry, And the list goes on...they're not enemies. They put a heated election on as a show to the public and then party in private. THANKGOD we have people that investigate and are able to get pics and infiltrate thier regime.... Look at the pics of the secret bielderburg meetings....

They're all on the same team....it's just not on our team that suxs!

It took a long time to process this

two simple points and both are unpopular-

As a citizen I am truly disappointed int the behavior of these people. You do not need more power to do your job, What makes this country great is freedom.

The FBI person needs to have her masters yank her chain back. Thank you op for posting the link, if I am ever in charge this person is gone with out benefits and possible face time in gitmo (taste of her own medicine)

treason

I however do support the good agents and the ones smart enough not to receive my wraith... the one shone should have all of there supporters join them...

As the leader at that point I am left with another problem...

I approve of the program.. ( being in charge means mearly ruling wisely not fairly)

All that it is lacking is over sight to remove political affiliations and power plays. necessary to prevent dictatorships from forming

Also if I was president or had enough power there is a singular court in the land under the constitution with the authority to hear this... The supreme court of the united states...

As I sit here I can see me being forced to create a special court to deal with national security issues... the necessity is becoming prevalent

one appointed by the president, which is chosen by the president every 4 years
one appointed by congress as a whole (lol) every six years
one appointed for life by the supreme court for life

with Secret Service detail for all three

one appeal- directly to the supreme court
they hear all issues -
not authorised to issue the letters or fisa but authorised to trow them out

ex- what if a state like Texas wishes to challenge EPA if it gets a fisa issued
or a NSL issued

and anyone can challenge it privately...

Make it interesting if the three person court rules against it- not a secret

a singular appeal to the Supreme court
private session but can be released if the court rules against it or side with the new National security court

of note-
national security does not apply when informing the Supreme court now... if you try to spout it technically the court can throw you in jail and that would suck (no one to appeal to)

the new court I suggest, simply is created to allow for an appeal by the government and all others

also you cant quote national security as the reason with out evidence

in conclusion

those who took the public face of doing this-
the phrase is throw under the bus ( I call it treason because it is with out judicial review)

note even now a cop merely has to swear to a judge that they have proof for a warrant.. Cops can lie and get it...but upon review can get into trouble

The next part just sets up a citizen protection program that can force accountability

add in a caveat that if the agents involved are found to have lied and violated their sacred charge-

life in prison
no immunity from prosecution or civil damages
allows the government to sue the agent for the damages (the governments rep is damaged)
allows the other parties involved to sue

We are Americans, the greatest and most powerful country on the face of this planet and we got here with a singular dual concept- freedom/liberty

not security/protection

Freedom/liberty is the only security available forget this and you get a dictatorship...

national treasure got it right on this, and it applies to power ( because that is what government is- organization of power-- a circuit board so to speak)

National Treasure- Imdb

Sadusky: The Templars and the Freemasons believed that the treasure was too great for any one man to have, not even a king. That's why they went to such lengths to keep it hidden.

Ben Gates: That's right. The founding fathers believed the same thing about government. I figure their solution will work for the treasure too.

Sadusky: Give it to the people.

Remember we are the rulers of America every decision we make adds to the total... Rule wisely my fellow Americans...

I doubt the Left/Right trap thing would make much difference anyway, you'd need to get someone like Ron Paul in, but then he'd be assassinated, so there's not much hope really, apart from if you can find ways of encrypting your data

Lol! Another delusionnal person that thinks it matters who is in the Whitehouse...

Stop dividing people, all should come together and kick the WHOLE government out. Not just the face puppet.

It's all about lobbying. That sh** must be voted illegal as soon as possible. If not, don't expect any changes even if your hero is elected...

Peace out.

Re-elect? Ummm there've been about what four or so administrations of one party or the other in office since this has been happening, so umm do not re-elect who or what? Don't elect anyone? Even if that were to happen (ha) this would still go on.
