Hi.

So I lost a bet with my girlfriend and now I have to make breakfast. The nature of the bet meant she had to spend the night but she thinks she won.

This morning I am making eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice, coffee and a fresh fruit plate (strawberries, mango, and watermelon). I hope she's hungry.

I love breakfast but usually I skip it maybe have some toast or a glass of juice. On the weekends I make it a priority to have a good breakfast on at least one of the days.

So what is your favorite breakfast?

How about...

Scrambled eggs, sauerkraut, bacon, and a hot cup of Maxwell House!

Yummy...Yummy...to fill up my hungry tummy!

sauerkraut

For breakfast?

The rest of it sounds good but I'll pass on the 'kraut. Maybe later on my brat.

Coffee and an apple. Celebrities can be quite useful after all.

Sounds strange...until you try it!

Kraut anytime of the day is good...before bed sauerkraut ice cream (I'm kidding)!

So do you mix it in with the eggs?

I'll try almost anything once it's the way I was raised.

I won't do the ice cream thing though.....

You're probably at McDonalds right now, eating your mcmuffin. I don't have a McDonalds anywhere near me.

It's over an hour away, all highway. A round trip would cost about $50 in gas, at least. Wow, I think of all costs these days in terms of gas costs.

Do they still have those breakfast bagels? With the holladaise sauce?
Those were soooo good......

This morning will probably be 2 scrambled eggs, with a little cheddar cheese cooked in, with a dollop of ketchup.
Or a piece of whole grain toast with cheddar cheese, tomato, and basil flakes...

I'm still working on coffee, with flavored creamer, about to have my third.

Actually...pan fried in butter...and served on the side!

It's really a twist on the traditional breakfast...and is really enjoyable!

It's best to use good, fresh, crisp kraut...and squeeze just a touch of lemon juice on the eggs!

Chocolate milk and a can of Spaghettio's is my all-time favorite breakfast, but since I have to cook for everybody else in the house I usually make omelets (with ham, cheese, mushrooms, onion and bell pepper) along with some smothered potatoes, bacon or sausage (depending on which is on sale) and biscuits. Also coffee (Columbian) and my fave- chocolate milk.

Sounds pretty gross but if that's what you like....

I'll stick with my eggs and bacon and fruit.

Scrambled egg topped with pepperjack cheese, whole grain toast, Kona Coffee. If I really want to indulge, an English muffin or a biscuit instead of toast.

I love my breakfasts....fave meal of the day. I can eat anything for breakfast, have been known to tuck into a roast dinner, a curry, anything that anyone would eat at other times during the day. I'm one of those people who can eat the second my feet hit the floor too, maybe thats something left over from my time in the army?

However on a normal day, i enjoy porridge oats with some chopped fruit and live yoghurt on top, or boiled eggs, runny with pepper on, with bread and butter... mmmmm.

I'm normaly up at about 6:30am to make the kids breakfast before school, as novice teenagers they aren't big fans of breakfast, however when they are greeted with bacon and eggs on the table, they tuck in happily.

Whatever i have, a cuppa is a must. Tea, milk, two big sugars!

CX.
